With Silverstone gearing up to host Britain’s Triple Crown of bike racing events in 2013 – including the MotoGP™ British Grand Prix, the British round of the FIM Superbike World Championship and the penultimate round of the MCE British Superbike Championship – the Northamptonshire circuit has plenty to excite track racing fans attending this year’s Motorcycle Live at the NEC, Birmingham (24 November – 02 December).
Located in Hall 4, Silverstone’s adjoining stands (numbers 3L10 and 4A23) will be popular with show-goers, especially those planning to attend any of Silverstone’s bike events in 2013. Visitors to the stand will be able to take advantage of exclusive show discounts, including savings on tickets for the 2013 MotoGP™ British Grand Prix (taking place on 30 Aug – 01 Sept).
Visitors to Motorcycle Live will also be able to make the most of a 2-for-1 World Superbike offer. Anyone purchasing a Weekend Ticket for Silverstone’s round of World Superbikes (02 – 04 Aug) will receive a second Weekend Ticket FREE, which, combined with Silverstone’s ‘kids go free’ policy for SBK (children aged 15 and under go free), presents fantastic value for a family planning to attend one of the biggest race events of the year.
In addition to great savings and the latest information on all of Silverstone’s 2013 events and bike track days, the stand will have a number of motorcycles on display, including Cal Crutchlow’s 2012 Monster Tech 3 Yamaha MotoGP bike.
A number of riders, including Cal and fellow British star Leon Camier, will also be making appearances on the Silverstone stand throughout the nine days. In addition to taking part in interviews and autograph sessions, the riders will be setting lap times around Silverstone’s famous Grand Prix circuit on an X-Box simulator. Members of the public will then have the chance to try and beat the pro-riders’ times, with prizes, courtesy of Alpinestars, presented to those setting the fastest lap time on each day.
For those with a passion for four-wheels, Silverstone will also be running exclusive show offers on its Thrill Super Choice Vouchers and Experience Super Choice Vouchers at Motorcycle Live. Popular as gifts in the run up to Christmas, Silverstone’s Thrill and Experience Super Choice vouchers, available at £69 and £139 respectively (if purchased at Motorcycle Live), give recipients the option to choose from a wide range of vehicles, including the Ferrari 360, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Lotus Evora, Lotus Exige, Nissan GT-R and Mercedes AMG. For an upgrade of just £20 vouchers will also come with two tickets for F1 Practice on the Friday of the 2013 FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX.
