Everyone has a dream of owning a super-sports bike and accelerating it to full throttle! Unfortunately, most of these bikes come with an earth-shattering price tag, which heavily restricts the number of people who are able to afford them and enjoy their ride.

Quite unsurprisingly this leads to bike enthusiasts turning to major racing events around the world for witnessing such bikes in action and for showing their support to the teams and riders. Many races like The Isle of Man welcome thousands of fans who not just see their idols in action but also bet on their favourite bikers. This trend of gambling on motorsports has been on the rise in recent years, and many sites have come up to provide free bets and exciting opportunities to interested punters. In 2018, several new bikes have been launched and various new projects have been put into the public eye, however, for all you bike enthusiasts we have come up with five of fastest motorcycles which you are likely to find on roads these days.

Dodge Tomahawk
The Dodge Tomahawk is undisputedly the fastest motorcycle in the world right now and has a top speed of 420 miles per hour. Though it was launched in 2003, the company has only been able to sell 9 of its models. It houses an 8.3L, V-10 SRT Dodge Viper Engine which is sufficient to power a car, and produces a maximum power of 500 HP. It takes only 1.5 seconds for the bike to touch the 60 mile mark on the speedometer.

The bike has an enduring trellis frame which gives the rider better manoeuvrability and makes the ride more nimble. The top speed of H2R is 249 miles per hour.

MTT Turbine Superbike Y2K
This bike is a non-production motorcycle which is manufactured by Marine Turbine Technologies, and has received the honour of being entered into the Guinness Book of World Records as “the most powerful production motorcycle.” It takes its 250-C18 turbo shaft engine from Rolls-Royce and can produce a maximum power of 320 HP at 52,000 RPM, and can reach up to 227 miles per hour.

Suzuki Hayabusa
This well-known Japanese motorcycle gets its name from the Peregrine Falcon which flies at 203 miles per hour. The Suzuki almost reaches the speed of the bird with a top speed of 194 miles per hour. It is the fastest bike from the brand and is powered by a 1340cc, four-stroke DOHC engine, and has 16 valves enabling it to take sufficient air to keep the engine heat low. Hayabusa produces a maximum power of 197 HP at 9500 RPM and a maximum torque of 155 NM at 7200 RPM.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R
Another bike from the house of Kawasaki – Ninja ZX-14R is a powerhouse and can attain a speed of 208.1 miles per hour at full throttle. The 1441 cc four valve liquid cooled engine produces a maximum power of 197.3 HP at 10,000 RPM and a maximum torque of 158.2 NM at 7500 RPM. Taking mere 2.7 seconds to reach 0 to 100 kmph, the bike comes equipped with a wet multi-disc clutch, which is a commendable addition.
