Akrapovič Takes Yamaha Yzf-r1 To Whole New Level Of Race PerformanceAkrapovič has taken the race performance of the Yamaha YZF-R1 to a whole new level with the launch of the Evolution Line Kit, designed to give demanding racers an even greater advantage on the racetrack.

The new Evolution Line Kit has been developed and tested in the white-hot arena of intensely competitive racing on tracks around the globe. It’s built for and aimed at R1 riders and teams that want to go all the way in the exhaust tuning process and take their machines to a higher performance stage with an accurate racing setup.

The Evolution Line Kit offers the best performance for track and race use with increased power right through the whole rev range, higher torque levels, and improved throttle response, while still meeting the FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) WSBK noise level regulations. Designed for use with R1s fitted with a Yamaha Racing Kit, the system is aimed for track use only and will transform the performance, handling, and behavior of the R1, making it a thoroughbred race machine. Due to the bespoke nature of parts like the radiator in the Yamaha Racing Kit, using the Akrapovič Evolution Line Kit offers more freedom to modify the R1 with racing components.

This superb system is beautifully crafted from high-grade lightweight titanium—which will reduce weight over the stock system by almost 60% (5.8 kgs), leading to handling and acceleration improvements—and is finished with a high-tech carbon fibre heat shield, designed to fit in perfectly with the sporty lines of the Yamaha YZF-R1. Akrapovič sound engineers have also made sure the system has a unique sound profile, making it sound as good as it looks and performs.
