Fenton Seabright returns to Thruxton in British Sportbike Title Hunt
Headlines

As the British Sportbike Championship heads into its final rounds, Fenton Seabright is firmly in contention for the championship title.
Currently second in the standings, the 23-year-old returns to Thruxton Circuit this weekend aiming to build on a standout season despite competing with a small, family-run team.
Seabright has already claimed two wins and a second-place finish in 2025, proving that consistency and determination are keeping him within reach of the championship lead.
“I’m really looking forward to getting back out on the bike at Thruxton,” Seabright said. “It’s a fast-flowing track that I haven’t ridden in seven years, so I’ll be using every moment in practice to relearn the layout and get comfortable.”
Seabright’s passion for racing began early, despite initial hesitation from his family. “I’ve always been obsessed with bikes. My mum never wanted me to have one as it scared her, but when I finally got that first pit bike at 11 years old, it’s where the dream began.”
He credits his mother as a key source of motivation. “The last thing I promised her was that I’d make her proud and never stop trying. She’s the fire behind my eyes — always.”
Now back in the British paddock, Seabright acknowledges the challenges of competing on a tight budget. “It’s been tough coming back into the championship with a small team, but to be second right now shows all the work we’ve put in is paying off.”
His first victory of the season at Knockhill stands out as a highlight. “It was a long time coming, and it meant a lot,” he said. “So much work goes on behind the scenes — from myself, the team, my sponsors, and my family. It was a proper battle, and it always feels good when you’re the one to come out on top.”
This weekend marks his first appearance at Thruxton since 2018. With only a five rounds remaining, Seabright is focused on pushing for the title.
“The goal is to claw back as many points as possible and go for the championship — and enjoy every minute of it,” he said.
He also thanked those who’ve stood by him. “To the people behind me and those always supporting me in the background — thank you. It means everything.”
