Ruroc Introduces Limited-Edition Chrome & Eclipse AT4.0 CARBON Models
Meticulously engineered paintwork debuts on best-selling Ruroc AT4.0 CARBON platform.
Ruroc, a global leader in motorsports protection, today announces the AT4.0 CARBON Chrome and AT4.0 CARBON Eclipse. These limited-edition models feature the most complex paint jobs ever developed by the Ruroc team—each applied to the brand’s best-selling helmet, the AT4.0 CARBON.
The AT4.0 CARBON Chrome edition is the result of years of development and an intensive eight-stage nano-painting and finishing process designed to deliver a true mirror-like liquid metal finish. Achieving authentic chrome on a contoured surface is a rare feat in the helmet world and the result is nothing short of stunning.
The AT4.0 CARBON Eclipse is equally striking, offering a deeper, stealthier take on Ruroc’s fan-favorite Liquid Black colorway. Featuring a black mirror shell laced with silver and blue metallic flecks, it evokes the look of a starlit blackout sky. Subtle and futuristic, it’s a new kind of dark mode for the road.
Both helmets are built on the AT4.0 CARBON platform, featuring a lightweight carbon fiber shell, RHEON™ impact protection, an easy-use Fidlock® magnetic chin strap, and built-in compatibility with the Shockwave™ Bluetooth audio system. Certified to ECE 22.06 and DOT standards, they’re designed for riders who expect safety to match the style.
“These are more than colorways – they’re precision finishes that required us to completely reimagine our painting process,” said Daniele Caruso, Head of Design at Ruroc. “Chrome in particular pushed every limit. But we knew the results had to be worthy of the AT4.0 CARBON. With Eclipse and Chrome, we’ve created pieces of art riders can actually wear.”
The AT4.0 CARBON Chrome and Eclipse helmets are introduced today – with the AT4.0 CARBON Eclipse available for purchase now, and the AT4.0 CARBON Chrome available in September in limited quantities, exclusively at https://www.ruroc.com/en_us/at4-chrome-eclipse.
