Save your Soles with WunderlichA simple upgrade that makes a significant difference, Wunderlich Footpeg Rubbers convert the off-road full-metal foot pegs on the GS Adventure to more comfortable road versions that are much kinder to footwear too.

Although great for off-road use, the spiked grips of the original metal footpegs of the 1200 Adventure offer little in the way of comfort or vibration damping on the road – and as many riders will attest, cause painful injuries to the shins when manoeuvring.

Wunderlich Footpeg Rubbers completely envelop the original pegs’ teeth, reducing the transfer of engine vibrations to the feet, protecting footwear and keeping shins pain-free.

Each rubber is wider and longer than the original pegs, so gives a larger platform for the foot. A specially profiled surface offers extra grip – significantly more than the original metal surface – in wet conditions.

They’re precisely shaped to fit the standard pegs perfectly, and attach using two screw fastenings, so when the terrain gets rough, they can be quickly and easily removed.

Each one is made from extra tough material which is impervious to weather, remains flexible at very low temperatures, and is chemical and UV-resistant.

Wunderlich Footpeg Rubbers retail at £40 per pair, including VAT, and fit 2005-2013 models of the R 1200 GS Adventure. They’re also available for:

  • R 1200GS Adventure (2014 – 2018)
  • R 1200 GS Rallye TE (if Enduro Footpegs fitted)
  • R 1250 Adventure
  • R 1250 GS Rallye TE (if Enduro Footpegs fitted)
All versions are available from the UK’s No.1 for BMW motorcycle accessories and exclusive Wunderlich distributor www.nippynormans.com
