Ten Young Riders Set for the Opportunity of a Lifetime at Yamaha BLU CRU Master Camp.
The 2025 Yamaha BLU CRU Master Camp is designed to nurture and inspire the next generation of champions. This unique event will see ten talented youngsters from all over the world take part in an incredible five days of training at the Aspar Circuit in Valencia from 27 to 31 August. Coaching will be provided by some of the biggest Yamaha stars from both MotoGP and WorldSBK.
The Yamaha BLU CRU Master Camp is part of Yamaha’s award-winning BLU CRU program, which forms the foundation of the Yamaha Racing pyramid. It aims to develop future racing stars in both on-road and off-road disciplines, with promotion to the premier classes – MotoGP, WorldSBK, and MXGP – the ultimate goal.
Launched in 2016 as the Yamaha VR46 Master Camp, the program transitioned to the Yamaha BLU CRU Master Camp following the end of the VR46 partnership in 2024. With the addition of the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team and the Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP Team in 2025, the overall structure now provides an even more direct link to the top levels of the sport.
The BLU CRU road racing programme offers a clear and supported path from national racing, via the R3 regional championships and challenges, to the FIM R3 BLU CRU World Cup, the new-for-2026 FIM World Sportbike Championship, and then onto the FIM Supersport World Championship. For those riders that possess the required talent and determination, this progression path could ultimately lead to a Yamaha ride in WorldSBK or even MotoGP.
The Yamaha BLU CRU Master Camp will feature a total of 10 promising young riders selected from across the FIM R3 BLU CRU World Cup, the Yamalube R3 BLU CRU Latin America Championship, the Yamaha R3 BLU CRU Asia-Pacific Championship, and the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship. Those who are selected, based on their talent, results, and potential, will be in for the experience of a lifetime, as they get to spend five days learning from their racing heroes at the brand-new Aspar motorsport complex, where they will receive not only top-level training and advice, but also enjoy unforgettable moments alongside some of the biggest names in motorcycle racing.
Inspiring the next generation of champions at the Yamaha BLU CRU Master Camp and providing elite-level coaching and mentoring will be a myriad of world-class Yamaha riders, including 2021 MotoGP World Champion Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins from the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team, as well as Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP’s Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira, plus Izan Guevara and Tony Arbolino from the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 Team.
They will be joined by six-time FIM Superbike World Champion Jonathan Rea and his Pata Maxus Yamaha WorldSBK Official Team teammate, Andrea Locatelli (2020 FIM Supersport World Champion), as well as 2021 FIM Moto2 World Champion Remy Gardner, who rides for the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team, and Stefano Manzi, who is presently leading the FIM Supersport World Championship, from the Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing WorldSSP Supported Team.
Providing even more motivation to the selected riders will be Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros WorldSSP Supported Team’s Aldi Satya Mahendra, who wrote his name in the record books after winning the 2024 FIM Supersport 300 World Championship to become Indonesia’s first-ever motorcycle road racing World Champion. His triumph meant he was the second BLU CRU rider to become a World Champion, and the first from the FIM R3 BLU CRU World Cup, with the 18-year-old the perfect example of how the BLU CRU program works.
In addition, the youngsters will also benefit from expert coaching under the guidance of 2009 FIM 125cc World Champion and Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team Rider Performance Analyst, Julian Simon, plus multiple WorldSSP race winner Jules Cluzel. They will be joined by flat-track expert Marco Belli, who specialises in teaching handling, balance, and control techniques to young riders, with the trio bringing top-tier levels of expertise to the BLU CRU Master Camp.
Under the watchful eye of such an incredible lineup of mentors and coaches, the five-day Yamaha BLU CRU Master Camp will give the selected attendees the chance to impress on track, with dedicated sessions on the main 2.200km circuit and special data analysis training to help the riders understand their performance and where they can improve.
They’ll also participate in technical training workshops and flat track sessions, plus tailored media training to help prepare them for the demands of professional racing. While development is the priority, fun is firmly on the agenda, too. The riders will enjoy a special karting session at the circuit and hit the water in Valencia aboard Yamaha WaveRunners, adding variety to an already packed program. This blend of learning and enjoyment is designed to deliver a truly unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
To help build a spirit of togetherness and camaraderie, a professional paddock will be set up at the Aspar motorsport complex where all the riders will be based. It will have a special restaurant area and spaces for technical training and briefings, as well as media and communication facilities for the riders to create content during the event.
The five days culminate with a Superpole session, which will give the young riders a chance to measure their progress during the camp, and a special closing ceremony, during which prizes and awards will be given to the best performers.
The Yamaha BLU CRU Master Camp is a cornerstone of Yamaha’s commitment to developing world-class motorcycle racers, regardless of their background. By offering young talent direct access to elite coaching, structured training, and the chance to learn and be mentored by world champions, it provides a structured, clear and inspiring pathway from grassroots toward the top level of racing, with support every step of the way.
