JuniorGP ready to take on Emilia-Romagna
JuniorGP: The series heads for Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in the heart of Italy’s Motor Valley.
The FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship touches down at Misano this weekend for the Emilia-Romagna and Motor Valley round. Here’s the schedule for race day at Round 5:
FIM JuniorGP
– Brian Uriarte (UAX SeventyTwo Artbox), with four wins from six in 2025, leads the way by 17 points ahead of Finnish rider Rico Salmela (Estrella Galicia 0,0) – who is yet to win this season
– Next up, Casey O’Gorman (Estrella Galicia 0,0), Aragon Race 1 winner Leonardo Zanni (Finetwork Mir Racing Team) and Magny-Cours winner Joel Esteban (CFMoto Aspar Junior Team) are covered by just eight points. O’Gorman is looking for his career first JuniorGP win despite sitting third overall
– Jesus Rios (Finetwork Mir Racing Team) is eighth in the standings on the way in but did the double at Misano in 2024
Moto2 European Championship
– Points leader Unai Orradre (Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro) now also races in the Moto2 World Championship, so second placed Alberto Ferrandez (Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro) has even more reason to want to take the fight to the top – especially now they’re teammates
– Winner last time out, Milan Pawelec (AGR Team), is third overall and aims to protect his three-point advantage ahead of home hero Alberto Surra (Andifer American Racing) – last year’s Misano winner
European Talent Cup
– Fernando Bujosa (AC Racing Team) and Alex Longarela (Snipers Igax Team) head in on equal points at the top: 108. Bujosa has won the last two races
– Álvaro Lucas (CF MOTO Aspar Junior Team) is next up, eight points back before a group of riders all vying for fourth overall led by #1 Carlos Cano (UAZ SeventyTwo Artbox)
Stock European Championship
– Iker Garcia (GV Macrobonsai Racing) leads the way by eight points ahead of Jacopo Cretaro (SF Racing)
– Cretaro won last time out and the Italian will be eager to double down on home turf
Tune in for Round 5 – here’s where to watch, from wherever you are in the world.
