It’s Allons-Y For Motojunior As We Go Full Throttle In FranceMotoJunior: Pressure, precision and pace on display as qualifying drama comes to a thrilling conclusion at magnificent Magny-Cours

Given the calibre of what we’ve seen so far this season, Round 4 of the FIM MotoJunior World Championship looks set to deliver excitement from start to finish. Saturday’s qualifying sessions didn’t disappoint, with the riders giving everything in pursuit of pole position.

Motojunior - PreviewMoto3 Junior World Championship

– Carlos Cano (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team) claimed his first pole position in the Moto3 Junior World Championship at Magny-Cours, with a sensational 1:44.539s giving him P1 on the timesheets.

– The #71 was almost four tenths clear of Kiattisak Singhapong (Honda Asia – Dream Racing Junior Team), who was the first rider to lap in the 1:44s. Nevertheless, the Thai rider will go from P2 on the grid for Saturday’s sole Moto3 Junior World Championship race.

– The first row was completed by Fernando Bujosa (AC Racing Team). The Spaniard set a 1:45.101s to take his first front row start since the season-opening visit to Barcelona.

– Giulio Pugliese (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team) headed to France as the Championship leader, and he will line up from the head of the second row after setting the fourth-quickest lap time, a 1:45.239s.

Motojunior - PreviewMoto2 European Championship

⁃ Championship leader Milan Pawelec (AGR Team) clinched his first pole position of the campaign with a lap time of 1:37.964s. The pole – if you’ll pardon the pun – was the only rider to get into the 1:37s.

⁃ Having been fast all weekend, Harrison Voight (Cardoso Racing) continued to shine in qualifying. The Australian sealed P2, his best-ever grid position in the class.

⁃ Alessandro Morosi (Eagle-1) will also start on the front row after securing P3 for just the second time in his Moto2 European Championship career.

Motojunior - PreviewMoto4 European Cup

⁃ Lorenzo Pritelli (Team Echovit Pasini Racing) set the benchmark early on with an unassailable lap time of 1:38.234s, securing pole position for the second time this season and priming himself to make an assault on the top spot in the standings.

⁃ Also looking to make an impact is Victor Cubeles (Team Impala Honda), who will start from a season-best P2 after crashing out of the last race in Jerez. The 15-year-old Spaniard looks to be finding his best form.

⁃ Just 0.173 seconds slower, Cristian Borelli (Team Echovit Pasini Racing) completes the front row.

⁃ Championship leader Alvaro Lucas (CFMoto Aspar Junior Team) will start from fifth on the grid.

Motojunior - PreviewStock European Championship

– Miguel Bernal (MDR Competicion) made it two poles in the last three rounds with a 1:41.335s at Magny-Cours. The Spaniard has only been off the front row once this season, in Barcelona.

– It’s an MDR Competicion 1-2 at Magny-Cours after Cristian Lolli secured second with a 1:41.530s, just 0.195s behind his teammate.

– Jerez winner Jacobo Hinojosa (Futurotel Face Racing) missed out on a maiden pole position by 0.265s but made it back-to-back front row starts in qualifying with third.

– Championship leader Yeray Ruiz (Team Honda Laglisse FPS) will start from sixth.
