Romney Marsh Show: Cash prizes, classic bikes, and bargains at Kent’s favourite ride-in show
The Romney Marsh Ride-In Show and Bike Jumble returns to Hamstreet, Kent on Sunday 21st September 2025. Ride in on your classic or modern bike and you could win £25 spot-cash prizes. Plus: trade and jumble stalls, display-to-sell BikeMart, workshop clear-out pitches and more.
A proper day out for riders, restorers and rummagers alike, Elk Promotions’ Ride-in Show and Bike Jumble returns to Romney Marsh on Sunday 21 September 2025.
If you enjoy riding your bike as much as polishing it, the event gives anyone arriving on two wheels the chance to take part in the Ride-In Show, with £25 spot-cash prizes up for grabs.
There’s no need to book or register – just ride in, pay the regular entry fee and park in the designated area to be in the running for Best Classic (pre-1980) or Best Post-Classic machine.
Previous winners show the variety of machines that turn up, and that it’s all about the bikes being used and enjoyed. Clive Martin won Best Post-Classic with his 1982 CX500 Turbo, which he bought three years ago when it had covered just 7,500 miles. The bike is completely original and unrestored. Maria Coombes won Best Classic with her recently purchased 250cc 1924 Sun-Villiers.
As well as rewarding those who ride their bikes, the event is a great motivator to get long-term projects running, and for those still searching for parts (or a project to start), there’ll be plenty of inspiration and opportunity in the bike jumble and BikeMart display-to-sell area.
The BikeMart is free for both buyers and sellers: simply pay the standard entry and bring your bike along to the display area. And if your garage needs decluttering, Workshop Clear-Out stalls are available at just £15, and jumble stalls from £20, including admission for two people.
The venue is located at Hamstreet, Kent TN26 2JD, with easy access from the M20 at Ashford – just follow the signs once you enter the village.
For early risers, Earlybird admission from 8am is £10 – ideal for those looking to bag the best bargains. General admission from 10am is just £5 for adults, £4 for seniors, and free for accompanied under-16s. Last admission is 1:30pm, and the event closes at 3:30pm (subject to weather).
There’s free parking, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Refreshments will be available from hand-picked local food vendors.
