Production entries rise again as 54 teams get set for EWC Bol d’Or season showdown
Nine teams will battle for success in the production-based FIM Endurance World Trophy – a 200 per cent rise compared to the 2025 opener – when the legendary Bol d’Or hosts the EWC season showdown from 18-21 September.
Launched at Circuit Paul Ricard 12 months ago, the entry-level category continues to increase in popularity with the assembled Production teams set to share the same grid as 16 Formula EWC squads and 27 Superstock outfits for a combined line-up of 54 motorcycles, which includes two Expérimental class entrants.
The standout Bol d’Or entry figure is just one shy of the total number of teams that contested the 46th Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race in Japan last month and is nine more than the Bol d’Or attracted in 2024 when 45 squads competed.
It also ensures that all four races appearing on the EWC schedule in 2025 have achieved entry increases after the 24 Heures Motos attracted 53 registrations compared to 48 last season and entries for the 8 Hours of Spa Motos rose from 37 in 2024 to 44 when the Belgian race ran back in June.
Among myriad entry highlights are Wójcik Racing Team adding a Production category entry to its existing Formula EWC and Superstock squads; AutoRace Ube Racing Team entering an EWC event outside Japan for the first time; Infini Team FLAM Racing switching from Superstock to Production; the all-star Honda-powered Moto Revue/Moto Journal line-up featuring multiple X-Games and Red Bull X-Fighters Freestyle Motocross winner Tom Pagès and 10-time EWC champion and nine-time Bol d’Or winner Vincent Philippe, plus registrations from the world title contenders in all three EWC categories.
