Andy Reid takes positives from tough weekend at Brands Hatch Triple Header 1The dreaded Brands Hatch gremlins continue to haunt Northern Ireland’s Andy Reid, who picked up a handful of top ten finishes during the round seven triple header at the Kent venue on his Quattro Plant Cool Kawasaki.

Saturday’s ‘sprint races’ over a shorter distance on the Brands Hatch GP circuit turned up seventh and eighth placed finishes. Reid was openly disappointed but sixth place in Sunday’s feature race, leaves him just 24 points off the championship lead as the series moves to Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire in a fortnight’s time.

Andy Reid:
“It was a tough weekend for the Quattro Plant Cool Kawasaki lads. We cannot hide the fact that we were down on power over the weekend, which was evident. But we made the best of a bad situation despite this, and my efforts on track meant we finished all three races in the points. On a positive note, this still keeps us in the running and well in the title chase. I can assure everyone that my team is already on the case and working hard to give me the best opportunity to lift that big trophy at the end of the year”
