The FIM CEV Repsol arrives in Barcelona 1The FIM CEV Repsol is back in action at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with the fourth event of the season, a week after the Grand Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya. This time, the FIM CEV Repsol will use the same track layout as was used in the World Championship.

Marcos Ramírez (SPA-KTM) arrives as clear leader of the Moto3™ Junior World Championship class after taking his second win of the season at MotorLand Aragón. Lorenzo Dalla Porta (ITA-Husqvarna) had challenged the Leopard Junior Stratos rider for the leading position after winning at Le Mans but remains second, 15 points behind Ramírez after coming in third at MotorLand. Kaito Toba (JPN-Honda) is in third place four points behind the Italian. In the Moto3™ Production class, Aleix Viu (SPA-Honda) stays at the head of the rankings.

In the Moto2™ European Championship, Steven Odendaal (RSA-Kalex) is the one to beat after his double win at MotorLand – his third consecutive victory. Tetsuta Nagashima (JPN-Kalex) and Alan Techer (FRA-NTS TPRO) swapped podium places in the two races, with the Japanese rider finishing second in the first race and Alan Techer third, with positions reversed in the second outing. The AGR Team rider heads the Moto2™ European Championship leader board with 95 points followed by Alan Techer on 72 and Tetsuta Nagashima on 36.

Jacopo Cretaro (ITA-Yamaha) is recovering from his injuries after being involved in the pileup in the second Moto2™ race at MotorLand and won’t be riding in Barcelona. Ivo Paixao (POR-Kawasaki) is the leading Superstock 600 rider, 13 points ahead of the Italian.

Carmelo Morales (SPA-Yamaha) arrives in Barcelona looking to extend his winning streak started in MotorLand where he won both races of the Superbike European Championship, which puts him 11 points behind the category leader, Maximilian Scheib (CHI-BMW), though Santiago Barragán (SPA-BMW) still holds second place 9 points adrift of the Chilean rider. These three riders have swapped podium positions so far this season, except in the first race in Valencia where Carmelo Morales dropped out with a puncture and Alejandro Medina (SPA-Yamaha) finished second, though injury prevented him from racing in Alcaniz.

Valencian Oscar Climent (SPA-Yamaha) heads the overall standings of the Superbike Privateer class, 15 points up on Niko Mäkinen (FIN-Yamaha).

The fourth round of the FIM CEV Repsol closes with the Kawasaki Z Cup race, with Procurve team rider Daniel Carrau (SPA-Kawasaki) topping the leader board with 50 points, followed by Marc Cortell (SPA-Kawasaki) on 40.
