How to Make the Most of Your Motorsports Knowledge in the World of Sports Betting.
Whilst it is often overlooked as a betting vocation, very few sports betting markets are as multi-faceted sports as motorsport. From the staples of motorsport such as Formula 1 and Moto GP, through to emerging offerings within the betting sphere such as NASCAR and the World Rally Championship – there truly is something for everyone when betting on motorsport.
As the motorsport betting industry continues to develop, many sportsbooks and online bookmakers are looking to diversify their motorsport betting offerings. Bookmakers all over the world, especially those suggested by a respectable analytical platform Match.Center available in many countries, for instance, Match.Center Nigeria and Match.Center Austria, are starting to see the value in the motorsport betting marketplace and all are getting on board with the motorsport betting revolution.
Here is a rundown of how to make the most of motorsports knowledge in the world of sports betting:
Variety is the Spice of Life
Often looks can be deceiving and that remains very much the case in the world of motorsport betting. Casual observers will invariably look at the motorsport betting market as limited but within the title, there are a multitude of different betting markets for punters to access within motorsport betting.
Most sports inevitably have their nooks and cranny’s that punters can get stuck into but having a basic knowledge of motorsport is a huge asset for anybody betting on it.
The glitz and glamour of Formula 1 betting, which remains the most popular motorsport event on earth, with the circuit travelling the world annually, with races attracting millions of fans, is often a huge pull for punters – predominantly in the outright race winner market.
However, as Formula 1 betting has evolved, there are a myriad of markets available in every race meeting, ranging from the podium places through to which driver will be forced to retire first – gris to the mill for any motorsports betting fan that knows their stuff.
Whilst Formula 1 inevitably makes most of the headlines in the motorsport world and the accompanying betting markets, there are plenty of other options available out there for punters, regardless of their betting aspirations.
Moto GP arguably has the edge over any other offering within the motorsport market, simply due to its unpredictable nature. With racers careering around tracks on motorbikes at death-defying speeds, the element of danger and risk is a constant, but the sport remains as popular today as it ever has been.
Away from the aforementioned track racing in Formula 1 and Moto GP, the World Rally Championship remains one of the fastest-growing motorsport betting markets available to punters. Once again, the season format is present within the WRC but with races taking place in terrain all over the world, there are plenty of variables for players to exploit.
In addition, the likes of speedway, NASCAR and superbikes all present superb opportunities for players to win big when motorsport betting and with so much action on the global calendar, there is never a dull moment as a motorsports betting enthusiast.
Use the Motorsport Bookmaker Offers
The aforementioned variety within the world of motorsports betting has seen more bookmakers than ever before look to incorporate as many betting offerings as possible within the niche.
In addition, the advent of live betting on motorsport races and events, has opened up the marketplace to a whole new generation of punter – all looking to get on board with the latest betting trends and cash in whilst certain drivers or teams are in form.
Consequently, most online bookmakers have developed many offers and promotions to compliment the jam-packed motorsport betting calendar, in an attempt to attract both new and existing customers to place motorsport bets.
Ranging from money back on any losing bets, through to free bet credits, punters can now access a range of bookmaker offers within the motorsport niche, with many big betting promotions often centred around the biggest races or meetings on the global motorsport calendar.
Seek Out the Best Motorsport Odds
Whilst digging a little deeper can help most punters see the opportunities now available to them when betting on motorsport markets, it is still a growing vocation in the eyes of most bookmakers.
As a result, the odds from sportsbook to sportsbook can differ significantly and all punters should be vigilant when choosing which bookmaker to place their motorsport bets with.
2022 is not an easy year to forget, and there is only one thing that can be done to further raise the bar – to methodically prepare the new season: 2023 starts today with the presentation of the renewed MotoGP team. The novelties are quite a few, starting from the 2022-spec Desmosedici machine with new colours: more of the iconic Ducati red with a modern touch combined with a glossy light blue (slightly pearly) to give even more power to an already beautiful and winning bike.
The arrival of Alex Marquéz is surely the biggest news. The Spanish rider will be aided by Donatello Giovanotti (track engineer) and Andrea Mattioli (data engineer) while inheriting the rest of the team that last year celebrated four wins alongside Bastianini.
On the other side of the pit-box, Fabio Di Giannantonio has one important piece of news as (former Suzuki) Frankie Carchedi joins in as crew chief. The feeling in the recent Valencia test was already quite interesting and it will only be a matter of time to see the whole team in action in February’s official test at Sepang, which will officially open the new season.
FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO #49
“We start 2023 with a pinch more of red, which stands for determination, passion, fire… I’m eager to continue growing and do well. We want to take this new season race by race, with the awareness that this is the right time: the top ten should be the regular occurrence, while top five a realistic goal. The team is charged up and I trained 300% hard for this year – we’re ready!”
ALEX MARQUEZ #73
“Today is a really special day: to see this team so tight together and ready is a thing that brings great emotions. To be here at this presentation is a very special thing. To see so much eagerness and excitement within the team and the people that came see us is something I really like. Now the work starts, for a preseason that hopefully with enable us to be 100% ready for the first race at Portimão. The goal is to have a great start to the season because it will set the pace for the rest of 2023. We have the tools and the will to do well; it won’t be easy, obviously, but the right approach helps a lot in these scenarios.”
NADIA PADOVANI – TEAM OWNER
“We’re very excited for this new adventure. 2022 was incredible in every way, but the idea is to continue to improve and surprise. We’re a young team with great ambition: Fabio will have the chance to showcase all his potential in his sophomore year and Alex is eager to take the stage back… we will do our best to make sure both can succeed. Today is almost a return to normal with such an important presentation and with the people joining us: a big thank you goes to the sponsors and the whole team who worked hard to be ready.”
Team Moto2 Qjmotor Gresini Racing ready for battle in the 2023 championship with Salač and Alcoba.
It is finally that time of the year, the one we have all been waiting for: the team presentation, 2023 edition. The line-up had already been revealed: Filip Salač, the Czech rider who already has one season under his belt under the Gresini banner. Last year, he came very close to making it happen in his rookie Moto2 year as he took second place under pouring rain in Thailand, for what turned out to be his maiden podium in the “middleweight” category of MotoGP. On the other side of the box, we will find Jeremy Alcoba, a new entry of the Moto2 team but also a well-known face inside the Gresini Family as he tackled the Moto3 World Championship in the two-year period 2020-2021 with the Faenza-based squad.
What are totally new and extremely exciting are the colors. The red, that immediately captures your imagination, mixed with the Gresini’s pale blue in order to give a warm welcome to QJMOTOR, the new title sponsor of the Gresini Moto2 Team for the next three years. The company, based in Wenling City (China), is specialized in manufacturing high-end large-displacement motorcycles, scooters as well as electric two wheeled vehicles. Exporting its products in 130 countries and regions, QJMOTOR chose the Gresini Moto2 Team to further enhance the brand visibility around the world, with their logo prominently on display on the team motorcycles, rider suits, teamwear, pit-box panels and trucks…as well as on the QJ MOTOR scooters that the riders will use for transportation inside the paddock.
We cannot wait to begin this adventure together!
FILIP SALAČ #12
“I’m happy to start my second year in Moto2 with a crew I already know. We did a good job in the last races of 2022 and I hope we will start right from where we finished. My target is to gain as much experience as possible and try to finish all the races in top10 and points. For me, as a rider, it will be a very important season as I’m not a rookie anymore and it’s time for me to show my real potential. Now I’m moving to Spain to train in the best way and be ready for the first test of the season. I hope everything will work as I planned, and to find the same atmosphere in the team as last year, which was amazing!”
JEREMY ALCOBA #52
“I’m so glad to be back in the Gresini Family, the team that gave me the very first chance to join the world championship. This will be my second year in this category and I aim at the top5 in every race and why not, podiums and victories. I know I must work hard especially on Saturdays, that were my weakness last year. On Sunday instead we have the potential to stay in the upfront positions. I know it will be hard, the level is so high as just one rider step-up to MotoGP. But that is going to be one more motivation to do my best. I can’t wait”
MR. GUO – QJMOTOR CEO
“It is a great pleasure for QJMOTOR to cooperate with Gresini Racing which is a legendary Team, therefore I’m delighted to announce the establishment of Team QJMOTOR Gresini Moto2. Today is Chinese Spring festival and new rabbit year: on behalf of QJMOTOR, I would like to say happy spring festival to everyone and also I want to wish Team QJMOTOR Gresini Moto2 a great success in this season. Qianjiang Motorcycle has always had a deep connection with Italy. As you know the Benelli motorcycle which based in Pesaro is also one of our brand and MV Agusta from Milano is our important Global partner, and today we are also partner of the Faenza based Gresini Racing team. We believe that the cooperation will be mutually beneficial to both of us, also through this project we aim to introduce more excellent motorcycle racing technology into China, and popularize the motorcycle racing culture in China, and help MotoGP and Gresini team to increase the voice in China mainland. 2023 will be an important year for Qianjiang Motorcycle international market. Our high-end Chinese motorcycle brand QJMOTOR will officially enter the important markets. In 2022, QJMOTOR brand reached 27% market share in the domestic market for the “over 250cc” segment to claim leadership. We also hope that the Chinese intelligent made motorcycles could bring unparalleled and fun riding experience to the riders all around the World. Finally, I wish Team QJMOTOR Gresini Moto2 excellent results in 2023. and Happy Chinese New Year to all friends.”
CARLO MERLINI – Commercial & Marketing Director GRESINI RACING
“Today is no doubt a special day. I’m extremely delighted to announce QJMOTOR as Title Sponsor of the Gresini Moto2 Team. Giving birth to a new partnership is already a very exciting thing …but when it’s about a Title Sponsor then the thing takes a special taste as we add a new member for the #GresiniFamily that has put huge faith and trust into our racing project. And it will be a long journey too, as we will do at least three seasons together, until 2025. I would like to thank Mr Guo for his strong passion as well as his marketing team that has poured hard work into building and developing such sponsorship. The new QJMOTOR livery is amazing, so I can’t wait to see Filip and Jeremy racing on such good looking bikes and deliver exciting performances, strong results and plenty of fun to QJMOTOR and all the fans around the world”.

Wójcik Racing Team has added another “world-class” rider to its FIM Endurance World Championship line-up with the signing of Isaac Viñales.
Catalunya-born Viñales, the cousin of MotoGP racer Maverick Viñales, joins the Polish squad’s #77 Formula EWC entry alongside new team-mates Mathieu Gines from France and South Africa-born Sheridan Morais.
A four-time podium finisher in Moto3, Viñales, who also scored five FIM World Supersport Championship podiums in the past, made his EWC debut in the Suzuka 8 Hours in 2018. He then impressed on two outings for Team Moto Ain in last year’s championship.
Team Manager Sławomir Kubzdyl said: “Isaac is another world-class rider joining the Wójcik Racing Team. We know him well, having watched him battle in world championships for years. He was one of the frontrunners in the World Supersport Championship when we made our debut in 2020 and we’ve been thinking about joining forces in FIM EWC ever since. Once we started our talks, things went very smoothly and after inviting Isaac to try our bike and meet the team in Cartagena, we both decided to sign the 2023 contract at the track. We have the same goal and want to fight at the front in FIM EWC.”
Wójcik Racing Team completed the 2022 EWC season with second place in the Bol d’Or 24-hour race last September, a result that helped to secure fifth position in the final FIM Endurance World Championship for Teams.
“I’m really happy to be joining Wójcik Racing Team,” said Viñales. “It’s a very good team and we can achieve a lot together. I really like the family atmosphere here, which is very important in endurance racing. After our first two days together, I can see that we have a good bike and we know how to make it even better. It’s difficult to talk about goals in endurance racing as everything can happen but we’ll give it our all and want to fight for top positions.”
Wójcik Racing Team will announce a fourth rider for its #77 Yamaha in due course.
Quick quartet confirmed for Wójcik Racing Team’s EWC Superstock challenge As well as confirming Mathieu Gines, Sheridan Morais and Isaac Viñales for its Formula EWC attack, Wójcik Racing Team has also announced a four-strong Superstock line-up consisting of Polish riders Kamil Krzemień and Marek Szkopek, Briton Danny Webb and Italian Kevin Manfred, who claimed two Superstock pole positions for Wójcik Racing Team in 2022.

The MCE 6 Days Extreme product line for enduro competition is enriched with the addition of a new rear specification in 140/80–18 size designed for the most difficult technical sections and harshest terrain.
MCE 6 Days Extreme, Metzeler’s family of tyres designed for enduro competitions, expands with the introduction of the new Extra Soft rear specification specially developed for extreme enduro races.
The new MCE 6 Days Extreme Extra Soft rear, in 140/80–18 70M NHS size, is a specialist tyre suitable for one-day competitions and special stages. It features a tread compound designed to guarantee maximum performance in extreme conditions from both a technical and environmental point of view, therefore effective even in very low temperatures. Thanks to the high level of grip, the Extra Soft allows riders to tackle even the most difficult obstacles and to restart easily even from a standstill, in the absence of a run-up. Furthermore, the very consistent overall deformation of the carcass guarantees a good level of comfort and makes it an easy tyre to use, even for less experienced riders.
The Extra Soft specification, which visually stands out from the rest of the range due to the presence of three parallel white stripes on the tread, features a new layout of the knobs to ensure optimal performance even at high lean angles, less wear and greater resistance to fatigue. These characteristics are very important in extreme enduro competitions in which the tyre is subjected to cyclical and multidirectional deformations. The compound is also completely new, based on 100% Carbon Black and highly resilient, which means it is capable of absorbing deformation energy. It also has a very wide range of use: working even in very cold temperatures.
The Extra Soft completes the Metzeler range for enduro competitions, a discipline that has involved the German brand since the first decades of the last century. Developed together with the best riders and teams of the FIM Enduro and FIM Hard Enduro World Championships such as KTM, GAS GAS and Honda, the MCE 6 Days Extreme tyres have written pages of history in the most important enduro competitions and are chosen as original equipment by the best manufacturers for their off-road models.
Although they were designed for Enduro and Extreme Enduro World Championship riders, the MCE 6 Days Extreme tyres are also suitable for enthusiasts of the discipline who want to equip their motorcycles with high-performance tyres that make traction, versatility and resistance of the knobs their strengths.
The range of MCE 6 Days Extreme tyres includes a wide variety of specifications designed for different enduro applications and which allow riders to find the most suitable solutions for their needs. The front tyre is available in different sizes and in three versions: standard, soft and super soft. The rear is available in nine sizes divided between five different versions: standard, medium, soft, super soft and the new extra soft.

He certainly earned his seat on the factory Norton team, getting their first win at Cadwell Park in 1988 on the development bike the RC588 – beating the likes of Whitham, Foggy, Spray and Morrison in the process.
‘Mr Rotary’, the legendary tuner, designer, and uber engineer Brian Crighton, will be joining Haslam and Nation on stage to talk all things rotary and of course, the bikes and the men who rode them. Crighton, a three-time British champ himself, was a service engineer at Norton in 1984 and a year later was promoted to R&D. It was there he spotted there was a real potential in the company’s 588cc air-cooled rotary. Determined to prove his point, and defying the management’s conventional approach, he worked in his free time from the caretaker’s shed… the rest, as they say, is racing history.
Nigel Hole, commercial director of the show’s organiser Mortons Media, said:
‘We’re absolutely delighted to have two legendary racers, one incredible engineer and four rotary machines live on stage to entertain our guests throughout the weekend. Bristol is always a highlight in our events calendar, but this year we are even more excited to bring something extra (John Player) special to the show!’
The union of the Norton bikes and the men who rode them – watched by thousands in person and millions on terrestrial TV – will enthuse both racing fans and motorcycle enthusiasts, and adds to a show which already has a great foundation with excellent autojumble stands, some of the UK’s best privately-owned classic motorcycles and a host of owners’ clubs to give it a real community feel.
The event also offers one of the earliest chances of the year for visitors to stock up on classic parts, spares, accessories and riding gear for the season ahead. It’s a popular date on the motorcycling event calendar, attended by more than 16,000 like-minded enthusiasts every year.
Discounted advance tickets are on sale for the show, with a one-day adult pass costing just £14.50. Tickets will also be available on the gate at £17 – youngsters aged 15 and under get free admission. Free parking is available on site.
Kratom strains, native to southeast asia are an avid part of the recreational product family. There are many products in the market which derive from Kratom strains.
One of them is the Kratom capsule, Kona Kratom capsules, and many more. We will dive deeper into Kratom capsules and how a bike rider can pick them.
Comes From Kratom Leaves
Kratom capsules come from Kratom leaves, which give Kratom extract, which goes inside these capsules.
A Dietary Supplement- For Kratom Users?
The Federal Drug Administration disapproves of Kratom as a dietary supplement.
Potential For Drug Abuse?
Kratom has potent enzymes, making it a potential product for drug abuse.
Purchase Anywhere From Kratom Store
One can purchase Kratom strains or capsules from online stores in counties with them as legal.
Seven Reasons Why A Rider Should Consume Kratom Capsules
Bike riders have many sections of individuals. Some are professional bike riders, the bike riders who often do it as leisure, and some exclusively use it while traveling on vacations. There are also the ones who travel to their work location by bike.
There are many reasons to take out your bike, and many end with fun and endless joy. Some also travel with their friends on long routes and see it as their perfect vacation. Although, after the fun, there always comes a phase after the bike ride, which gets the bike rider tired.
Many use edibles and breaks during long journeys to counter the same. The edibles are often snacks, which one can consume quickly. Kratom capsules are one of them, and we will discuss why a bike rider may consume them.
The distances can be large for a bike rider, and often there needs to be more time to take breaks in between. For instance, many bike riders prefer to rest when it becomes dark and then travel the next day.
As there is less time to have than in the typical car, bikers prefer to consume edibles or snacks which are easy to consume. Kratom use for bikers, in terms of capsules, can be the best way. Kratom-based products in the organic recreational product industry have become a favorite among many consumers.
These tablets are small in size and often come spherical. They come in containers, which are easy to travel. The Kratom capsules contain binders that mask the taste of Kratom strains, usually bitter.
One can consume them quickly, and as a bike rider, that might be the best perk. It saves you from the hassle of making big stops before your journey.
The ingredients of a product often decide the effect it might have on consumers. More often than not, edible ingredients contain additives, flavorings, and whatnot.
They make the taste better, but they also increase the user’s calorie intake and cause other health problems.
On the other hand, Kratom capsules have Kratom extracts containing tens of alkaloids. This substance decides the taste of the Kratom strain and mixes with the other binders of the capsules.
They also decide the potency of the capsules and play an essential role in their effects on users.
Kratom capsules give flexibility to the bike rider, as the potency of these capsules depends on the Kratom strains inside. Hundreds of Kratom strains are on the market, mainly varying based on effects or potencies.
A rider can pick their good potent strain and consume those capsules as per requirement. The best way is to consume these capsules before the day of your journey, as the trance might also help you prepare for the next day.
The binders in the capsule serve as a nice mask and hide the bitter taste of the original Kratom strain. It only makes those bike rides better and improves your experience.
It is no surprise that Kratom has enzymes that induce an intense trance in the consumer after interacting with neural receptors. The mitragynine extract interacts with opioid receptors and causes euphoria in the consumer.
The degree often depends on the Kratom strain inside the capsules. The euphoria is enough to get you dizzy sometimes, so it is best not to consume it while driving.
Also, bikers prefer to sleep more before the day of their long journey, and Kratom capsules might be the best method to do the same. It can be a boon for any bike rider.
Bike rides are often long, and shifting gears in traffic becomes problematic for any bike rider. Mix the city traffic; these are the worst conditions a biker can have and can affect the rider’s well-being.
More often than not, bikers consume drugs to overcome the same. Kratom use depends on the dosage and the potency of powders one consumes. It also depends on the quality of Kratom capsules, as the effects depend on the ingredients inside.
The mitragynine extract inside the body interacts with the receptors and might ease the muscles and symptoms of muscle pain.
Might Come in Handy With Pain, Mood Enhancement, Sleep, Stress, Anxiety, And Other Benefits
Long bike rides can be exhausting for the body and cause muscle pain. In addition, several bike riders complain that these conditions lead to a lack of sleep, stress, anxiety, and other problems.
Kratom capsules relieve Pain, cause mood enhancement, and increase your sleeping hours. These can be a boon to any bike rider. Although, there is a lack of scientific evidence supporting the same. More and more research is ongoing, which might shed light on the same later.
In the present time, inflation is sky-high. It is due to several reasons, and many predict a year-long recession. First, several countries are already in recession.
The pandemic and the war between Russia and Ukraine pushed inflation and oil prices globally.
For many, riding a bike is critical, and the rising oil prices make it more expensive. In these circumstances, having an extra budget for edibles is only for some.
Kratom capsule stands out in the same. These products are not natural, and hence, it makes them affordable.
The capsules cost 10 $ to 15 $ per small container on various websites, making them highly affordable.
For many, Kratom has become a controversial topic due to its potential to cause addiction. The high dosage of Kratom for many can cause addiction and then withdrawal symptoms as well.
However, it is primarily due to users consuming Kratom strains in their original and potent form. Bike riders can avoid the same by consuming the less potent Kratom capsules and consuming them in a small dosage after consulting medical experts.
Coffee is often the favorite of many bike riders. It is famous for causing energy boosts and decreasing the habit of sleeping. It comes in handy during bike rides and has no trance-inducing effect.
On the other hand, Kratom is organic and can cause trance and buzz in the consumer. It gives that extra kick to the bike rider before the day of the journey if used in a controlled manner.
Kratom Capsules In Drink?
Several Kratom users and bikers consume Kratom capsules with their favorite drinks, ultimately increasing the taste. One can have Kratom tea, and Kratom tea is not only easy to make but consumed as well. One can also mix it with protein shakes and other favorite beverages.
Purchase From A Reliable Vendor And Product- Kona Kratom Capsules
In the big Kratom industry, there are plenty of vendors. Although, there are few reliable vendors which fix their business around quality products and customer satisfaction.
One of the reliable vendors of Kratom capsules is Kona Kratom, which provides premium quality products in the states or counties which allow Kratom.
Quality- A Top Priority
The quality of the products they consume is essential for every bike rider, as the effects of impure products can be detrimental to the journey. Quality in Kratom capsules is essential, and Kona Kratom can be your best bet.
What Does The FDA Say?
Several users compare Kratom with opioids, but these substances are different. The FDA often comments about the risks of Kratom and how vendors cannot make any claim of Kratom capsules or other products to treat any disease.
The counties in which Kratom is banned in the USA are Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Wisconsin, Union County, Denver, San Diego, Jerseyville, IL, Oceanside, CA, and Ontario, OR.
Furthermore, Kratom is also banned in Australia, Burma, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Malaysia, Myanmar, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
Final Thoughts
We have stated why premium kratom capsules for pain and related issues might be a wise choice for riders; one should consult with a professional before using the same.

The bikes, which at that time still came from Lombardy, proved their abilities in countless enduro competitions. Then, in the mid-1980s, Fantic’s great era in trials sport began. The brand won three world championship titles as well as the legendary Scottish Six Days Trial seven times and rose to become the world market leader in trials motorcycles.

The Fantic Factory Team E50 Racing competes in the Enduro World Championship in the E1 and E3 classes, among others. The brand was already represented together with MOTOREX in the Dakar Moto Rally, which has just ended. Among others, Dakar veteran Franco Picco, at 66 the oldest participant in the 2023 edition, successfully crossed the Arabian desert on a rally machine based on the Fantic XEF 450 Factory. This Ducati 851S Kit bike was presented to Ron Haslam in 1989 by Cagiva. It is estimated to sell for £40,000 – £50,000. The 851S ‘Kit bike’ represented the advent of the 4-valve, liquid-cooled, fuel injected race bikes from the late 1980s.
One bike was given to each the 1990 Cagiva ‘Works’ riders Ron Haslam, Randy Mamola and Marco Lucchinelli. This bike has never been used and is in original and unrestored condition.
It comes complete with all the original bagged-up spares including exhausts, gaskets, valves, spark plugs. The Ducati 996 followed on from the glorious 916 before being replaced by the much loved 998. Ducati have produced motorcycles that leave a distinguished legacy. They are as much loved and sought after now as they were when they first appeared. The Ducati 996 played a big part in the marque’s story.
Rowan Huntley of Silverstone Auctions, comments: “This is an exceptional opportunity to own a completely unused 996, still on its original tyres with only delivery miles. The super subtle Matt Silver ‘Special’ and the contemporary ‘Bend’ Matt Black/Red and Black/Blue/Red/White ‘Sport’ graphics – both of which complement many of 2023’s new machines – bring the modular Advant range to a total of nine colour options.
Tested to the latest ECE 22.06 safety standard and certified P/J for use in the open and closed position, the Advant is very versatile and easy to live with.
The opening mechanism is designed to keep the Advant’s outline compact and neat, while making operation simple too. The chin bar sits close to the face, so there’s less leverage on the neck and head when opening and closing, and the visor automatically lifts with the chin bar, in one one fluid movement.
The visor is Pinlock-ready and an intuitive release mechanism enables swift and smooth removal and refitting.
Comparable to much more expensive high-end composites, the exclusive Kinetic Polymer Alloy shell is strong, flexible and light – the Advant tips the scales at only 1650 grams.
Venting front and back, with channelling through the multi-density EPS inner, brings instant airflow when needed. The breathable Comfort Lining is removable and washable, and the cheek pads feature an Emergency Release System.
Practical additions like the Drop-Down Sun Shield and quick-release Micrometric Metal Buckle make life comfortable on the road too.
The LS2 Advant comes – as standard – with a Pinlock insert, Helmet Bag, Carrying Rucksack and Air Bag Support for easy cleaning and maintenance. Prices start from just £249.99 in solid colours. Graphics and special colours, as shown, are £269.99.

A road trip on a bicycle can be a thrilling and rewarding experience, but it’s important to ensure your bike is properly prepared before hitting the road. Not only will this ensure a smoother and more enjoyable trip, but it can also prevent costly repairs and breakdowns.
This article will discuss some key steps for preparing your bike for a road trip, including checking and maintaining important components, packing essentials, and planning your route.
Checking and maintaining important components
Before embarking on a road trip, it’s essential to give your bike a thorough check-up to make sure all of the important components are in good working order.
Tires: Check the tires for wear and tear and ensure they are properly inflated. Bring a pump and patch kit in case of flat tires.
Brakes: Ensure your brakes are working properly and the pads are not worn down. Adjust or replace them if necessary.
Chain: Lubricate and adjust the chain to ensure smooth shifting.
Gears: Make sure the gears shift smoothly, and the cables are properly adjusted.
Bolts: Check all the bolts on the bike to ensure they are tight and secure.
Lights: Ensure your bike lights are working properly, and bring extra batteries or a generator if necessary.
Packing essentials
When packing for a road trip on a bike, it’s important to be strategic about what you bring with you. Remember that you must carry everything on the bike, so pack light and bring only the essentials.
Tools: Bring a basic tool kit that includes a multi-tool, a set of Allen wrenches, and a chain tool.
Spare parts: Bring spare tubes, tires, and brake pads in case of a breakdown.
Clothing and gear: Pack clothing appropriate for the weather and terrain, and bring a rain jacket and extra layers for cold weather. Bring a helmet, gloves, and sunglasses for protection.
Food and water: Bring plenty of water and non-perishable snacks to fuel your ride.
First-aid kit: A small first-aid kit is essential for emergencies.
Planning your route
Planning your route is an important step for preparing for a road trip on a bike. Consider the terrain, distance, and weather conditions when planning your route.
Maps: Bring a detailed map of the area you’ll be riding in, and ensure you know how to read it.
Overnight stops: Plan where you’ll stay overnight and make reservations if necessary.
Rest stops: Plan rest stops along the way to take breaks and refuel.
Weather: Check the forecast and plan your route accordingly.
Pack a repair kit
Even with all the preparations, it’s important to be prepared for unexpected breakdowns or repairs. Pack a repair kit with all the necessary tools and parts you may need on the road. Some of the most important things to include in your repair kit are:
Tire levers
Spare tubes
Patch kit
Spare chain links
Chain lube
Allen wrenches
A small set of screwdrivers
Spare brake and gear cables

For many riders this will be a once in a lifetime experience that will live in their memories forever, and for others it may ignite a desire to compete in Rally Raid in the future.
Run by former Enduro champion and Dakar Racing Team manager Marc Bourgeois through his company MBSM on behalf of Yamaha, the Ténéré Spirit Experience is open to Yamaha Ténéré owners who want to take their adventure riding to another level and get a real taste of Rally Raid but without the intense pressure of competition while also being able to experience the beauty the landscapes provide.
Total package from start to finish
Ténéré Spirit Experience is a total 360 degrees package that is designed to cover every aspect of the preparation, flights, bike transportation and every aspect of participation in the customer’s chosen Rally Raid. Before the event each rider can choose to attend a Ténéré Experience Centre* if they want to get tuition on their riding or navigation skills, and MBSM will take care of everything else from start to finish – including daily pre-event briefings, logistics, technical assistance, GPS tracker fitment, breakfast, dinner and camping.
Suitable for standard Ténéré models
Customers will be riding their own machine at the Ténéré Spirit Experience events, but they don’t need to worry about making too many modifications. MBSM technicians will equip every bike with special wheels and tyres as well as navigation equipment prior to the ride – and in some cases the participant’s Ténéré will also be required to be fitted with an extra fuel tank for specific events.
Join the Ténéré World Raid Team at four legendary events for 2023
The team of Marc Bourgois (MBSM) will take charge of both the Racing organisation and the Customer program under the umbrella of the Ténéré World Raid Team. Allowing for seamless integration of true racing spirit and customer experience.
The 2023 Ténéré Spirit Experience includes four of the most famous Rally Raid events, starting with the Morocco Desert Challenge in April, followed by the Hellas Rally in May. After the summer break the TSE and TWRT continue with Transanatolia in September and conclude with the Tunisia Desert Challenge in October.
Ténéré Spirit Experience riders will be sharing the bivouac with Ténéré World Raid Team riders Alessandro Botturi and Pol Tarrès who will be competing at selected events – and there will also be extra top level guest riders joining various races.
*MBSM Ténéré Centres in France and Morocco, plus the YORE Ténéré Experience in Wales
With a number of MBSM Ténéré Centre locations in France and Morocco, plus the YORE Ténéré Experience in Wales, riders can take additional off-road training as well as develop their navigation skills. MBSM will have two Ténéré Centres located in France and Morocco. Other countries in Europe also have similar structures, contact your local distributors for more info.

Vespa 946 Celebrates Its Anniversary With A Special Edition Dedicated To The Year Of The Rabbit.
This is the first collection of a series which will encompass 12 years. Limited and numbered, it will bring back the iconography of the lunar calendar.
The beginning of a new lunar year brings us not only the enthusiasm of rebirth and the joy of spring, but also the iconography of a new animal for the horoscope to reference. January 22nd, 2023 welcomes the year of the rabbit, a symbol and omen of peacefulness, well-being and respect for the past.
The Vespa 946 10° Anniversario, dedicated to the year of the rabbit, will be issued in a limited and numbered series of 1,000. This will be only the first stage of an important project that will span the next 12 years and which will see the introduction of a new annual edition each year, inspired by the lunar horoscope animal of that year.
Since its debut in 2013, the Vespa 946 has established itself as the archetype of the Vespa of tomorrow, which interprets the values that have made Vespa a global icon while injecting it with a contemporary spirit and a forward facing attitude. It is an Italian-made masterpiece, which has now become a real collector’s item, taking shape in a dedicated production line that is more like a haute couture atelier than anything else. This special version is issued in a reworking of the classic Vespa green, to symbolize the love of fun, light-heartedness, and nature typical of those born under this sign. The stylized silhouette of a rabbit peeps out on the body.
All the details of the Vespa 946 10° Anniversario are made in a refined burnished finish with warm reflections, while the double-upholstered saddle is black with burnished stitching and is sewn by hand with needle and thread, as are the handgrips.
Further details will be available on www.vespa.com starting from 22 January 2023.
Honda Racing UK is delighted to confirm its 2023 rider line-up for the International Road Racing season with the team looking forward to returning to the NW200 and Isle of Man TT once again. Returning to ride for the manufacturer, with whom he has amassed 16 of his 23 total TT wins, road racing royalty John McGuinness MBE will line up again in Honda Racing colours aboard the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. Joining him for the 2023 campaign will be Manxman Nathan Harrison, a rising star of the roads.
As the most successful manufacturer to have raced at the TT, Honda is thrilled to continue its relationship with the ‘Morecambe Missile’ after their history-making year together in 2022 saw Honda celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Fireblade, whilst John recorded his 100th TT start. The two combined are a proven winning combination and are now set to continue writing history together for another year.
Lining up alongside his childhood idol, Nathan enters the team fresh from his first outing at the Senior TT in 2022 where he recorded a 128.087 MPH lap and placed 10th aboard the Isle of Man Steam Packet Fireblade. Although last year was Nathan’s first time riding in the Senior race, he is no stranger to racing on the island, amassing wins and podiums at the Manx Grand Prix. With full support from the Honda team and the guidance and mentorship of his vastly experienced teammate, 2023 will be an exciting year on the roads for Nathan lining up beside his hero at both the NW200 and TT.
The Honda Racing UK team once again reaffirms its commitment to the International Road Racing programme and will participate at the NW200 and Isle of Man TT in both the Superstock and Superbike classes during this year’s season.
John McGuinness MBE
Riding a Fireblade again at the TT last year was something special so it only felt right to continue for another year. I couldn’t feel more at home with the Honda team so I need to say a massive thank you to Harv and Neil. Celebrating 100 TT starts with the team and riding with that one-off livery and all of the history that we have was really something else. We also managed to crack the top 5 last year on the superbike, which was great, but I’m hungry for more. I just want to get started now and go racing again!
Nathan Harrison
To race alongside John and to ride in the Honda Racing UK team has always been a dream of mine. Coming from a Manx family that has always been involved in motorcycling, the TT has always been in my blood. Watching the TT as a child with John & Honda dominating, it made me want to be the next ‘John McGuinness’ and that was my full focus. I can’t thank Havier & Honda Racing UK enough for the opportunity. It’s only my second ever TT, so to be going into it on a great bike, with the best teammate I could ask for, will be an incredible experience. Hopefully, the long-term plan of where John can teach me things I may not know, learning from the team with the experience they have on the Fireblade and then my own progression, we can make small steps on last year to hopefully get me to that top step in the years to come. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my Mum and Dad for all their support and sacrifice over the years, my sponsors and supporters for sticking by me and helping me to get to this position where I have been given the fantastic opportunity.
Havier Beltran – Team Manager, Honda Racing UK
I’m extremely pleased that we have been able to retain John’s services for another year of racing on the roads at the NW200 and TT where we have such a strong history at both events. Welcoming him back into the fold in 2022 was fantastic and to witness John celebrating 100 TT starts and be a part of that history was brilliant for everyone involved. Continuing that relationship for another season and building on last year shows Honda’s commitment to international Road Racing. It also gives me great pleasure to welcome Nathan to the team. He had a remarkable breakthrough year in 2022 and has impressed me with the attitude that he has toward his racing. It will be great for him to learn from John and utilise all of his experience and expertise to build step by step. I’m excited to see what we can all achieve together in 2023.
Neil Fletcher – Head of Motorcycles, Honda UK
We’re really excited to be competing once more in the international road racing programme. Returning to the NW200 and TT last year after a short absence reminded us all of just how important these events are to the motorcycle racing community. Having John, with whom we have shared so much success over the years, to return to the team in 2022 and celebrate his 100th TT start, as well as the Fireblade’s 30th anniversary, was something truly special as he is such a valued member of the team. It was therefore an easy decision to continue that relationship as his status and experience are second to none. It also gives me great pleasure to welcome Nathan to the team for 2023. He clearly has the talent and hunger to push on to bigger and better things after a strong first Senior TT last year and it represents our continued commitment to help support and nurture future talent on the Roads. Now that our plans are all complete, I for one, simply cannot wait to get started!
A remarkable ‘once in a generation’ collection of important pioneer and collector motorcycles, motor cars and related automobilia, built up over decades by an enthusiast collector couple, is to be offered at the Bonhams Grandes Marques à Paris Sale, in the French capital on 1 February 2023.
More than 50 early motorcycles and circa 20 motor vehicles to include early motor cars, commercial vehicles, tractors and some farm machinery from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, collected over four decades by the late German couple, Peter and Ulrike Bühner of Hagen, will be offered in Paris, with many of the lots appearing for the first time at auction.
The collection started in the 1980s with a 1950s Wanderer motorcycle, similar to one Peter had owned in the 1960s, and grew to encompass the finest machines of the Pioneer and Vintage eras, representing marques from BMW to Vincent. The €1.6 million Dr. Peter and Ulrike Bühner Collection of Important Pioneer and Collectors’ Motorcycles and Motor Cars is headlined by a Hildebrand und Wolfmüller, the world’s oldest serial production motorcycle.
Highlights include:
1894 Hildebrand und Wolfmüller, estimate €110,000-170,000
1894 Hildebrand und Wolfmüller, estimate €110,000-170,000
A completely original example of a Hildebrand & Wolfmüller, the first powered two-wheeler to enter series production and the first such device to which the name ‘motorcycle’ (motorrad in German) was ever applied.
Powered by a water-cooled, four-stroke parallel twin engine displacing 1,488cc – until relatively recently the largest power unit ever fitted to a motorcycle – the motorcycle was capable of speeds approaching 30mph.
This is reputedly the earliest numbered example in existence.c.1924 BMW 493cc R32, estimate €90,000-120,000
Launched at the 1923 Paris Show, the R32 was the first motorcycle to be sold as a BMW, featuring a ‘flat twin’ layout for its 494cc engine which would be forever associated with the marque. Superbly finished and produced, the R32 was an immediate success, selling over 3,000 units over three years.
This R32, featuring its original supplier’s plate, offers an ideal opportunity for an enthusiast to celebrate the centenary of BMW Motorcycles in 2023.
c.1925 MARS ‘Weiße Mars estimate €90,000-110,000
Having begun motorcycle manufacturing in 1903, the German firm Mars built the futuristic ‘White Mars’ (Mars die Weisse) in 1921, designed by engineer Claus Franzenburg and fitted with a 986cc Maybach boxer twin in a box section pressed steel frame. A true work of art finished to a very high standard, the motorcycle was priced accordingly.
1898 Cudell De Dion Tricycle with ‘Lady’s Attachment’ Trailer, estimate €70,000-100,000
1898 Cudell De Dion Tricycle with ‘Lady’s Attachment’ Trailer, estimate €70,000- 100,000
One of the earliest forms of motor transport, the rare Veteran-era tricycle offered here was built by Cudell & Co Motorenfahrzeug-Fabrik of Aachen, Germany to a licensed De Dion Bouton design. Believed to be one of only seven in existence, the machine features a ‘ladies attachment’: a wicker trailer capable of accommodating a single passenger.
1912 FN Four, estimate €28,000-38,000
The World’s first production inline-4-cylinder motorcycle, produced by the Belgian arms turned motorcycle manufacturer, the FN Four had its public debut at the 1905 Paris Motorcycle Show at the Grand Palais and immediately enjoyed commercial success. The Four was also the world’s fastest production motorcycle in 1911/12, with a 40mph top speed.
c.1923 Nimbus 746cc Four ‘Stovepipe’, estimate €40,000-60,000
The result of diversification by the Danish vacuum cleaner manufacturer, Fisker & Nielsen, the Nimbus motorcycle first appeared in 1919. The advanced inline four-cylinder models used shaft final drive and pressed steel frames from the start of production. Early models featured a distinctive tubular spine frame that doubled as the fuel tank, soon gaining the nickname ‘stovepipe’.
c.1907 Zedel 200cc Single, estimate €10,000-15,000
Originally a Swiss company, Zürcher & Lüthi (Zédel, or ZL) built their first motorcycle engines in Switzerland, then complete single-cylinder and V-twin machines in Paris. This example was a favourite of Ulrike Buhner, who regularly rode it in the Pioneer Run, becoming known as ‘Ulrike Zedel.’
Ben Walker, Global Head of Bonhams Motorcycles, said: “This is one of the best collections of Pioneer and Vintage motorcycles – in terms of quality and quantity – to come onto the open market in recent years, offering machines that we haven’t seen in the marketplace for more than a decade. It’s an exciting, once in a generation opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors and we are expecting considerable worldwide interest.”
A selection of pioneer and collector motorcycles from the Peter and Ulrike Bühner Collection
Passion for the Pioneers
Peter’s initial passion was for motorcycles, but he came to share his wife’s love of Veteran cars, particularly rare or old machines, adding key examples to his collection, which also encompassed classic tractors.
So great was their passion for their Pioneer vehicles, that the collection outgrew their garages. As a result, they made use of their dining room, firstly housing motorcycles, then for a Morgan three-wheeler, with the family being relegated to their kitchen at mealtimes.
As their family said: “We three children were brought up with motorcycles taking centre stage in the dining room. After the collection started to grow, the dining table was dismantled.”
The ‘infernal noise’ of the Morgan starting up while being prepared for a rally, prompted Peter to convert their own and then a neighbouring haybarn, into a private motorcycle museum designed by Ulrike, where he spent most of his time when he retired.
In accordance with Peter’s philosophy, the machines were kept in running order, as original as possible and were used regularly for pioneer events. The pair participated several times on both The London to Brighton Veteran Car Run and the Pioneer Run for motorcycles, which was campaigned by Peter on his favourite machine, a Phänomen, whereas Ulrike’s preferred ride was her Zedel.
The family also took part in key German events, such as the famous ‘International Ibbenbürener Motorrad-Veteranen-Rallye’, one of the worldwide largest events for veteran motorcycles, and the Schnaufferl Rally for pre-1914 cars in Ibbenbüren.
Ben Walker added: “With Peter and Ulrike having both sadly passed away in the past couple of years, their children have kept selected vehicles for their own pleasure and enjoyment but look forward to seeing the balance of the collection going to likeminded enthusiasts and collectors.”
The collection will cross the block on the afternoon of Wednesday 1 February at the prestigious sale staged in the Grand Palais Ephémère, by the Eiffel Tower. All lots will be available to view throughout the day.
Today, the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team unveiled their brand-new colour scheme at Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing‘s 2023 ’3S Dealer Meeting‘, the largest dealer meeting in the world within Yamaha‘s network. Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. President Yoshihiro Hidaka, General Manager Motorsports Development Division of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. and President of Yamaha Motor Racing Takahiro Sumi, Yamaha Motor Racing Managing Director and Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team Principal Lin Jarvis, Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing President Dyonisius Beti, Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team Director Massimo Meregalli, and riders Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli took to the stage to share their excitement ahead of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship kick-off in Portugal in March
All eyes were on the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team today as they showed off their new 2023 livery in Jakarta, Indonesia, at Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing‘s 2023 ’3S Dealer Meeting‘. This being the largest dealer meeting in the world within Yamaha‘s network, it made the perfect occasion for the premiere of the brand-new 2023 Factory Yamaha colour scheme – an event motorsports fans had been highly anticipating.
Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. President Yoshihiro Hidaka, General Manager Motorsports Development Division of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. & President of Yamaha Motor Racing Takahiro Sumi, Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team Principal & Yamaha Motor Racing Managing Director Lin Jarvis, Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing President Dyonisius Beti, Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team Director Massimo Meregalli, and Factory Yamaha riders Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli took to the stage at the 2023 ’3S Dealer Meeting‘ to share their thoughts on ’a new era‘ for the Yamaha and Monster Energy Company partnership.
Yamaha has a long-term global alliance with the team‘s title sponsor, Monster Energy Company, based on their mutual passion for racing. A first multiple-year title sponsorship agreement with the Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP team was signed in the summer of 2018 and came naturally, as Monster Energy Company sponsors multiple Yamaha teams (among them the Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP team since 2013) and riders (including Quartararo and Morbidelli) in various racing classes. The multiple-year title sponsorship agreement with the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team was extended at the Catalan GP last year, and fittingly celebrated when Fabio Quartararo went on to win the race that same weekend.
With the colour scheme of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP YZR-M1 updated for 2023, the pit box, the riders‘ leathers, and the team clothing couldn‘t stay behind. The new camouflage look blends Yamaha‘s colours (with a new addition of grey) with the adventurous lifestyle colour scheme of Monster Energy. Their iconic Monster claw branding remains instantly recognisable on the bikes, in the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team logo, and on the team uniforms.
Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP are also pleased to announce that throughout the 2023 racing season the bike will continue to feature the slogans of Yamaha Motor Philippines and PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing, starting from the IRTA MotoGP Official Pre-Season Tests held from 5-7 February and 10-12 February in Sepang, Malaysia, and on 11-12 March in Portimão, Portugal.
Moreover, the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team is delighted to confirm the continuation of their relationship with numerous Official Sponsors and Official Partners, including the new prominent placement of Beta Tools as they have expanded their longstanding involvement with the MotoGP team.

The upcoming MotoGP season is shaping up nicely, currently projected to count 21 GP rounds and 42 races (due to the new MotoGP race weekend format that includes a MotoGP sprint race on the Saturdays). TAKAHIRO SUMI
GM, MOTORSPORTS DEVELOPMENT DIV., YAMAHA MOTOR CO., LTD
Since the Valencia Test, YMC‘s Motorsports Development Division worked tirelessly to make further steps. Using the feedback of riders and the team, we have made improvements with the aim to contend for the MotoGP World Title again this year. We thank our loyal supporters as well as all Yamaha employees for their Kando* spirit. We are starting this season with a blank slate and a positive mindset. We know that the level of MotoGP is higher than ever, and with 42 races the demands on the riders and the bikes reach new levels, but we are ready for the challenge. Fabio Quartararo, Franco Morbidelli, and their Factory Team crews are fully motivated, so we are expecting lots of exciting racing to delight MotoGP fans around the world.
*Kando: A Japanese word for the simultaneous feelings of deep satisfaction and intense excitement that we experience when we encounter something of exceptional value.
LIN JARVIS
MANAGING DIRECTOR, YAMAHA MOTOR RACING
“Last year our team achieved numerous successes whilst facing high-level competition and challenges. One of the highs that stood out, however, was the extension of our partnership with Monster Energy Company at the Catalan GP, which Fabio went on to win. In that moment, we were not only delighted to express our thanks for Monster Energy‘s continuous support and their faith in our team, but we also felt excited to look to a future exploring new opportunities to make the bond between Yamaha and Monster Energy even stronger. This year, we are entering our eleventh year with Monster Energy as our sponsor and our fifth season with them as our title sponsor. This occasion deserved a new livery and a fresh start that matches our military-like focus as we fight for the 2023 MotoGP title. As a part of the strong global alliance between Yamaha and Monster Energy, the new look-and-feel will also be adopted by Yamaha‘s factory teams in MX and Supercross, showing our unity. We are also thankful to our official team sponsors, partners, and suppliers, many of whom we have had long-term partnerships with. Competing at the top-tier of motorcycle racing has never been more challenging than the coming year, and it‘s thanks to the commitment and enthusiasm of our sponsors that we can concentrate on bringing the trophy home again. A full-on race calendar and additional sprint races mean we need to be focused, adaptable, and efficient right from the start of 2023 MotoGP testing.”
FABIO QUARTARARO
“My winter break didn‘t fully go as planned because I injured my hand during motocross training. But I‘ve kept working non-stop. I‘ve done a lot of cardio to make sure I‘m 100% fit for the 2023 season. My hand injury is fully recovered now too, so I feel ready to fight for the title again. We have the new camouflage livery, which is a nice change. I like the new look, and it‘s good to switch it up a bit. But more importantly, I am looking forward to start riding again. I am very curious to test the 2023 YZR-M1 in Sepang. We will work hard this season, as we always do. We have learned a lot in 2022, and now I just want to fight for the title again. My fans have been very supportive, sending me lots of messages over the winter. I‘m excited to see them at the tracks again this season. We will have some fun!”
FRANCO MORBIDELLI
“We are making a fresh start today, with a new look. Everything has gone back to zero and anything is possible this season, so that is an exciting prospect. We‘ve ended 2022 with an improved feeling. Now it‘s important that we do a good job at the upcoming winter tests, so we will be ready to start the season in March with the first race in Portugal. There‘s a new race format, which will take some getting used to for the riders and the teams, but I see it as a positive change because it‘s something that the fans will enjoy. I want to thank the Indonesian fans who we saw at today‘s dealer meeting for their support. Their enthusiasm has given us a boost, and I can‘t wait to start the 2023 season in the best way possible.”
Ducati’s electric chapter gets underway: production of MotoE bikes for the 2023 championship begins.
A little more than a year after the first test with Michele Pirro at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, work has begun on the “V21L” prototypes that will be the protagonists of the 2023 FIM Enel MotoE™ World Championship season. The production of the bikes started in December and the 23 units will be ready by mid-February. In addition to the 18 motorbikes that will be raced, five spare units will be made available to the organisation. Each prototype is assembled by expert technicians in the Ducati MotoE Racing Department with the same process, precision and attention to detail typical of the high craftsmanship used to build a MotoGP bike.
The start of production of the “V21L” prototypes represents the beginning of a new and important chapter in Ducati’s history. For the Bologna-based company, this project was born with the aim of developing skills for its future, maintaining the approach that has always fuelled Ducati’s DNA: experimenting with technological solutions in the world of racing and working to ensure that everything developed in this area can then be used on motorbikes destined for enthusiasts all over the world. To do this, Ducati created the world’s most technological, refined and sophisticated electric motorcycle, the result of the joint work of Ducati R&D engineers and the Ducati Corse team. “V21L” is the MotoGP of electric motorbikes, combining the electronic technologies and chassis dimensions developed by Ducati Corse with the design process and project management typical of a road bike like the Panigale V4. It is the combination of the best skills of the two worlds, racing and production, a prototype with which Ducati experiments in a world yet to be discovered, that of electric sports bikes.
Claudio Domenicali, CEO Ducati: “The start of production of the Ducati MotoE is a historic moment for our company, which with this project is thoroughly studying the technologies of the future for the world of motorcycling. It is an important area of experimentation, in which we are investing to build know-how, so that we will be ready when battery technology should allow the creation of an exciting electric road bike with the weight, performance and range that enthusiasts expect from a Ducati. We are therefore embarking on this new adventure with the aim of developing the people and skills within the company to shape what the character of a future Ducati electric road bike might be. The MotoE project represents a decisive step for Ducati to contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions on the product side, alongside research into synthetic fuels (eFuel) that can reduce the total CO2 emissions of internal combustion engines to zero. Environmental sustainability is something that all individuals and all companies must consider a priority if the delicate balance of the planet is to be preserved. Ducati is committed to this also at industrial level, and the construction of the new Finitura e Delibera Estetica area classified as Nearly Zero Energy Building is just the latest example”.
After a year of development tests that have seen Michele Pirro, Alex De Angelis and Chaz Davies take turns riding the “V21L” prototype, the Ducati MotoE project is getting closer to the moment when the bikes will take to the track. The first test with the riders and teams that will compete in the 2023 World Championship is scheduled for the 6, 7 and 8 March at Jerez, followed by three more test days on the 3, 4 and 5 April at the Montmelò circuit in Barcelona.
The race debut will take place at the French Grand Prix on Saturday, 13 May. The 2023 MotoE World Championship calendar is spread over eight Grands Prix with two races per weekend, both on Saturdays. After the French debut, the MotoE World Championship will be present in all the following European races until the Misano GP, thus will continue at Mugello on the weekend of 11 June, at Sachsenring on the following weekend and at Assen on the 25 June. After the summer break, the Ducati MotoE bikes will return to the track at Silverstone on 5 August, before tackling the final three Grands Prix at the Red Bull Ring (20 August), Catalunya (2 September) and Misano (10 September).

Injecting a new level of character, style and accessibility into the cruiser category, Royal Enfield showcased the gorgeous new Super Meteor 650 at EICMA in November 2022, and then displayed the motorcycle in all its colourways at the brand’s annual motorcycling festival – Rider Mania.
Today, Royal Enfield launched the new Super Meteor 650 across India and Europe, as the brand announced retail availability and price of the motorcycle. Built as two distinct variants – Super Meteor 650 and the Super Meteor 650 Tourer – and in seven distinct colourways, the new Super Meteor 650 will be available starting at INR 3,48,900 (Full EU Pricing detailed below). Display and bookings in India begin today, and deliveries will commence February onwards. Bookings across Europe begin today as well, with retail delivery starting by March 2023.
The Super Meteor 650 continues Royal Enfield’s heritage of building superlative cruisers. It is centred around the acclaimed 648cc twin platform that, since 2018, has enjoyed worldwide recognition within the multi-award-winning motorcycles, Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650. It has been rigorously tested on proving tracks, Belgian PAVE, and the highways, byways, towns and city centres of India, the UK and Spain, clocking up over one million kilometres in the process to ensure the most reliable and enjoyable ride.
Commenting on the new Super Meteor 650 Siddhartha Lal, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd. said, “The Super Meteor 650 is an evolution of all our focus and efforts in the middleweight segment over the years, and is a thoroughbred, retro cruiser in every sense. Its design language, geometry, form-factor and the gorgeous 650cc twin engine make it the most stunning, accessible and capable cruiser in the category. We’ve enhanced the refinement levels of this motorcycle, and you can feel it in its smooth throttle response across the range. The motorcycle has confidence inspiring stability, takes corners well and feels planted at highway speeds. It is a perfect mid-segment motorcycle that may actually interest even people who are not interested in cruisers. We believe the Super Meteor will expand the market for cruisers around the world and take the Royal Enfield twin platform a notch higher”
Speaking at the launch of the Super Meteor 650, Royal Enfield CEO, B Govindarajan, said, “We have focused not just on building great motorcycles, but reimagining propositions that transcend traditional motorcycling segments. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 that replaced the Thunderbird in our portfolio did just that, as it made cruising easy for riders across the globe, and became one of our highest selling motorcycles in Europe and other parts of the world. The Super Meteor 650 breathes new life into the cruising segment, and creates its own identity as an authentic, accessible, mid-segment cruiser”
A quintessential cruiser, the Super Meteor 650 combines uncluttered controls and instrumentation with relaxed rider ergonomics; rock-steady stability on highways with pure riding pleasure on even on the most winding roads where it is keenly responsive to steering inputs. Its flexible, smooth engine has torque aplenty and its cool retro styling is infused with clearly recognisable Royal Enfield DNA. It has a physically imposing presence, yet remains an easy ride, whether you are traversing vast landscapes or heading towards the vanishing point on the horizon.
Over the years, Royal Enfield has made exceptional contributions to the cruiser category with stylish motorcycles that have founded new, niche markets. Beginning in the mid-1950s, it was decades ahead of the cruiser genre being defined when it produced US export variants of the original Redditch Super Meteor twin, with what is today considered to be a strong cruiser profile. It then introduced cruising to India with the Citybike, Lightning 535, at the time the biggest and baddest motorcycle on India’s roads, and a succession of 350 and 500cc Thunderbirds, which garnered a large and loyal following. Global success followed in 2020 with the launch of the Meteor 350 on the brand new J-series platform. The Meteor 350 upped the tempo with new standards of finesse, quality and, most importantly, rideability.
Created at the UK Technology Centre in conjunction with Harris Performance, the frame and swingarm are entirely new and meet the design brief of a motorcycle with a low centre of gravity for high-speed stability and easy manoeuvrability that is confidence inspiring for all levels of rider. Fabricated in steel with optimised forgings, investment castings, pressings and extrusions, the chassis incorporates a new cylinder head mount for additional stiffness. Royal Enfield’s first USD forks, with a 120mm stroke, and premium rear shocks with 5-step preload and 101mm travel, perfectly complement the new frame, ensuring the Super Meteor is stable and rewarding to ride on highways, and precise and engaging through the curves without being heavy to steer. The USD forks allow the motorcycle to maintain a controlled response throughout the range of suspension travel, and the big piston damping technology allows for a plush and planted ride
Unintimidating and practical, the Super Meteor 650 has the silhouette of a thoroughbred cruiser, with a low stance and seat with wide hips and a narrow waist, which allow a comfortable standover. Riding position is one of the key differentiators of any cruiser and the Super Meteor nails this with fully feet-forward foot controls and raised, wide handlebars. These fundamental cruiser design elements meld to make the rider feel they are part of their motorcycle. A large tank gives extended range and wide tubeless tyres on 16” rear and 19” front alloy rims provide dependability and peace of mind at highway speeds. Its dynamic design and a striking silhouette add to the streamlined look of the motorcycle, giving it the appearance of moving forward and cruising even when standing still.
The rider’s view and controls have received special focus to ensure that the design, fit and finish are class-leading. Its instrument cluster combines the timeless elegance of an analogue speedometer with the functionality of an LCD display for essentials such as revs, gear indicator, fuel gauge, clock and trip-meter. Adjustable clutch and brake levers offer a smooth operation along with a touch of retro finesse, while ergonomically designed barrel profile grips integrate the Royal Enfield logo. All-new plated aluminium switch cubes hold unique rotary switches, placing premium, chic design elements into the rider’s hands. Then there is Royal Enfield’s celebrated TBT (Turn-By-Turn) navigation pod, known as the Royal Enfield Tripper. A first on any Indian-made motorcycle when introduced on the Meteor 350, this highly-focused tool, developed in collaboration with Google, links to the rider’s smartphone via Bluetooth. A discreet USB socket is located beneath the left side panel. Further attention-grabbing features on this cruiser are its LED headlamp, a first for Royal Enfield, which is carefully designed to deliver old-school charm but provide all the benefits of LED technology.
Finally, the Super Meteor’s paint finish is superlative while its distinctive tank badges, inspired by historic Royal Enfield designs, are faceted in chrome and accented with two colours of tinted infill that result in a gorgeous, jewel-like finish.
The Super Meteor 650 is available in five striking colourways: Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey and Interstellar Green. The Super Meteor 650 Tourer, which comes kitted with a touring windscreen, deluxe touring seat, pillion backrest, is available in two distinctive two-tone finishes: Celestial Red and Celestial Blue.
Like all Royal Enfield motorcycles, the Super Meteor 650 is supported by an extensive range of genuine motorcycle accessories that complement its capabilities and enhance its touring proposition in different ways. The Solo tourer themed Super Meteor has a range of bespoke accessories that make solo touring both easy and stylish. Available on the Astral and Interstellar trims, the Solo Tourer theme includes neat bar-end mirrors, bar-end finisher, front and rear LED indicators, the solo finisher kit, compact engine guard, deluxe rider foot pegs and silver finish sump guard. Available on the Celestial variant, the Grand Tourer theme additionally comes with an OE-fitted deluxe touring seat, pillion backrest and touring flyscreen. In addition, one can add more accessories from a range of
GMAs, making the motorcycle a full-fledged tourer. These include, touring handlebars, touring mirrors, deluxe rider footpegs, LED fog lights, airfly evo engine guard, black sump guard and front & rear LED indicators.
All GMAs can be ordered when booking your motorcycle through the local dealership. A stylish, high-quality range of gear, including Super Meteor t-shirts, helmets, bags and accessories, is also available.
The Super Meteor 650 has been created to allow its riders to break free from daily routines, to capture the romance of the open road, experience big skies and vast open landscapes, and undertake journeys that aren’t limited by hours or kilometres.
Royal Enfield is confident that it will make believers out of non-believers, encouraging those who love motorcycling but with no experience or desire to ride a cruiser, to do just that — go cruising.

Pirelli unveils the new Diablo Supercorsa: sport tyres par excellence from WorldSBK.
Pirelli illustrates the fourth generation of DIABLO Supercorsa tyres in detail, announced in September and now available to the general public for purchase from January, both in the SP version, designed primarily for street use, and in the SC version, available in various compounds for track use. DIABLO Supercorsa V4 (this is the full name, where V4 stands for the fourth series) is an entirely new product compared with its predecessor, the DIABLO Supercorsa V3, in terms of tread pattern, compounds, structures, and profiles. Both in the SC racing version and in the SP race replica version, DIABLO Supercorsa is the highest embodiment of Pirelli’s sporting DNA thanks to its extremely high and sporty performance or, to sum up in one word – speed.
THE PINNACLE OF PIRELLI SPORTINESS ON THE STREET IN ITS FOURTH GENERATION
From 2002, the year the first DIABLO tyre was born, the line of products which bear this name has identified Pirelli’s motorcycle sport tyres, continuing the success story which began in the ’70s, marked by exciting names such as Mandrake, Phantom, Gordon, Demon, and Dragon. With the DIABLO family, Pirelli revolutionised global street tyre paradigms, creating a proper brand, enriched year after year by technological innovations and the experience gained in the FIM World Superbike Championship, where Pirelli has been sole tyre supplier since 2004. After introducing the DIABLO Superbike tyres in 2005, slicks exclusively for track use designed for the Superbike category, in 2007, Pirelli launched the first generation of DIABLO Supercorsa SC grooved racing tyres, followed by the SP street version in 2008. DIABLO Supercorsa SC became the absolute benchmark for the Supersport and Superstock categories, both in the world and national championships and even now it is the standard for those championships that still use treaded tyres. In the same way, over the years, DIABLO Supercorsa SP has been selected as OEM equipment on the most prestigious supersport and hyper naked bikes. The second generation of DIABLO Supercorsa, presented in 2012, was then followed by the third in 2018, and now the fourth continues the path of technological excellence begun three decades ago.
ONE SOUL, TWO PRODUCTS: SC AND SP, FROM THE TRACK TO THE STREET
When Pirelli decided to make the first DIABLO Supercorsa in 2007, they did so with a rather specific idea and goal. The idea was to make a racing tyre respecting the basic philosophy of the World Superbike Championship, namely the bond with normal production, so not a prototype tyre, but a product that can be used by both professional riders and normal motorcyclists. The goal is to take advantage of the top category in the production derived world series not only as a showcase to give the brand visibility but also as a laboratory to develop, with some of the best riders in the world and the most prestigious manufacturers, advanced technological solutions and tyres not for exclusive use by the world championship riders, but also for everyday use. And it is precisely with DIABLO Supercorsathat the motto dear to Pirelli’s heart was born, “We sell what we race, we race what we sell”, indicating how the very same tyres used by professional riders in races can be purchased by any motorcyclist. This is why, from the beginning, DIABLO Supercorsa was developed as a single project but in two forms: the SC track tyre in various compounds and its SP street version, both in standard production available for purchase on the market in order to meet not only the needs of track riders, but also sport street riding enthusiasts. Over the years, DIABLO Supercorsa SP has become the supersport tyre of choice for all high performance bike owners who want an uncompromising street riding experience, thanks to extremely high levels of grip and performance. But above all, as of today, it remains the best and most immediate example of the technological transfer from track to road of Pirelli tyres, since it shares with the ‘SC’ the tread pattern, profiles, and many materials and technologies used in terms of structure, in addition to one of the two compounds it uses (the SC3).
CONCENTRATION OF TECHNOLOGY, PERFORMANCE AND SAFETY BORN IN SUPERBIKE DIABLO Supercorsa, in both the SC and the SP versions, is a true concentration of technology capable of providing high performance combined with the highest safety standards thanks to the ability to interact and collaborate closely with the most modern and sophisticated riding assistance systems. It is the result of twenty years of studies, development, and testing of solutions by Pirelli in the FIM World Superbike Championship. It is a tyre that was also designed with input from former world champions and developed with the support of all the manufacturers and teams that participate in the most important competition for factory derivative bikes. DIABLO Supercorsa SC V4, where the abbreviation SC stands for “Special Compound”, is the best and fastest treaded track tyre ever made by Pirelli. Thanks to the various compounds it is available in, DIABLO Supercorsa SC V4 is intended for use by both professional and semi-professional riders, as well as by those who are simply track day enthusiasts or riders just starting out in their careers who want to improve performance without making changes to the settings on their bikes. Compared with its V3 predecessor, these are the features and relative benefits for the riders that DIABLO Supercorsa SC V4 has to offer:
Latest generation compounds for outstanding performance and grip
Racing structure for better support coming out of corners
Racing profiles to the advantage of rideability, line holding, and stability at high speeds
Tread pattern with patented Flash evolution for smoother power on leans and improved consistency of performance
In the same way, DIABLO Supercorsa SP V4, where the abbreviation SP stands for “Sport Production”, is the sportiest tyre ever for street use in the DIABLO family. Compared with the SC version, DIABLO Supercorsa SP complies with all the regulatory restrictions of the vehicles it can equip – such as, for example, the speed index requirement (W) – and it is less sensitive to temperature, as well as heating up more quickly and providing more mileage due to the compounds. This tyre is intended for riders who love sport riding not only on the track but on the road as well. This undoubtedly includes owners of supersport street bikes from which the World Superbike Championship bikes are derived, but also track day enthusiasts who want a street legal tyre so they can ride to the circuit instead of having to load the bike on a trailer and one that will also let them turn laps on the track without having to swap out tyres. DIABLO Supercorsa SP V4 ensures significant benefits for riders:
Dual compound on both the front and the rear for maximum grip in leans and outstanding thrust coming out of turns, but also adequate mileage.
Latest generation structures that work in unison with the compounds for optimum performance both on the road and on the track by simply adjusting the pressure.
Profiles, identical to those of the SC version which ensure a simple ride and maximum reactivity.
Tread pattern identical to that of the SC with the new flash pattern interrupted at the centre with a slick area for smoother thrust at any lean angle and more consistent
Both versions share the tread pattern, the profiles, the compounds in part, and some technological solutions in terms of structure.
Tread pattern
The interrupted FLASH design improves water displacement and the area of contact surface with the ground.
The slick section where the pattern is interrupted has an impact on therigidity of the tread, reducing risks of groove deformation, and ensures better thrust at any lean angle.
The direction of the flash pattern on the tread follows the direction of the lateral force experienced in track riding, ensuring more even and consistent performance along with reduced warm-up time.
The first area of the shoulder without grooves guarantees greater contact between rubber and road surface both halfway and all the way into a lean in order to ensure greater grip on turns
The completely slick external area of the shoulder improves thrust at extreme angles
Profiles
The same racing profiles, developed in the World Superbike Championship, of the DIABLO Superbike slick tyre and the other fourth generation hypersport tyres in the Pirelli range.
Multi-radius profiles for abrupt direction changes, whereas the slick shoulder area provides high grip and outstanding line holding on corners.
The profile of the front improves handling, enticing the rider to lean into corners earlier, facilitating quick direction changes. It also provides exceptional stability thanks to the extended contact area in the leaning stage.
The rear follows the same pattern and similar geometry to the front in order to ensure synchronised performance of the set.
In the DIABLO™ SUPERCORSA SP V4, the tyre bead is designed to provide maximum performance both with tyre pressure on the road and with track use pressure (2.3 Bar front / 2.1 Bar rear with hot tyres). It is precisely the possibility of decreasing tyre pressure for track sessions that sets DIABLO SUPERCORSA SP V4 clearly apart from the other tyres in the Pirelli hypersport range.
Structure
The SC version shares with the DIABLO™ SUPERBIKE slick both structure and material which are able to ensure top performance and greater ease of riding with the use of specific pressures for the track.
Compared with its V3 predecessor, the new V4 uses new materials, such as wider section structural cords made up of a high number of textile fibres braided together to give the tyre greater rigiditycombined with better shock-absorbing capabilities.
In the SP version, each size has its own structure, fine-tuned for optimum performance in combination with the width of the specific profile for that size, the proportions of the compound and the arrangement of the tread pattern. Additionally, the structure of the SP is optimised for street use, so also for long distances in a straight line on motorways.
Compounds
DIABLO Supercorsa SC V4 is available in three compounds for both the front and rear:
SC1 – Front: maximum feeling / Rear: top performance with high temperatures and not very abrasive asphalt
SC2 – Front: maximum stability and consistency / Rear: consistent performance and ideal for low temperatures or extremely abrasive asphalt
SC3 – The race-for-fun choice for extended track sessions, but not intended for professional racing use
DIABLO Supercorsa SC V4 range
DIABLO Supercorsa SP V4 is dual compound both at the front and the rear.
Front:
The first DIABLO Supercorsa tyre to adopt two compounds at the front.
Layout with a central and base compound paired with a second compound on the tyre shoulders.
The base compound, which covers the entire profile of the tyre and emerges coming into contact with the asphalt at the central section, is full-silica and extremely versatile, providing thermal stability and ensures consistent performance in both cold and hot temperatures.
The compound of the shoulders is the same one used in the SC3 racing version, in 100% carbon black formulation, and it is capable of ensuring outstanding handling and maximum grip even at full lean.
Rear:
Compared with the front, this has a softer central compound and a wider side, but still maintaining the same base compound of the front in support of the two compounds in contact with the asphalt.
The central compound is 100% carbon black and optimised to work effectively in a broad range of temperatures because it provides grip and quick heating in various conditions. Additionally, it ensures stability at high speeds and resistance.
The compound used on the shoulders is the same as the one used on the front, so SC3, for maximum power coming out of corners.
The base compound, which is beneath the two compounds that are in contact with the asphalt, has a 100% Carbon Black formulation and was designed to work in the best possible way with the other two compounds, providing thermal stability and a better feeling for the rider.
DIABLO Supercorsa SP V4
BEST-SELLER PEDIGREE: MORE THAN 3.5 MILLION TYRES SOLD
The Diablo Supercorsa is a success story not only on the technological side, but also in terms of sales. In fact, since its début in 2007, more than 3.5 million DIABLO Supercorsa tyres have been sold all over the world, making this product one of the most successful motorcycle tyres in Pirelli history. A success which, with this fourth generation, Pirelli will continue to build on, equipping the most prestigious supersport and naked bikes that will be introduced to the market in 2023 and the years to come with DIABLO Supercorsa SP and, with DIABLO Supercorsa SC, offering riders and track enthusiasts a racing tyre that embodies the most cutting-edge technologies.
MISSION RACING AND SPORT RANGE REVAMPING ACCOMPLISHED
With DIABLO Supercorsa V4, Pirelli concluded the revamping process of the fourth generation of the DIABLO racing and sport range which began in 2021 with DIABLO ROSSO IV and continued in 2022 with DIABLO ROSSO IV Corsa. Therefore, the Pirelli range is now made up of two DIABLO SUPERBIKE racing products – the competition slick par excellence, and DIABLO SUPERCORSA SC V4, the treaded tyre for the track – and of supersport and sport tyres primarily for street use, beginning with the new DIABLO Supercorsa SP V4, the most extreme of the street tyres also suitable for the track, as well as the DIABLO ROSSO IV CORSA, the most focused version of the DIABLO ROSSO IV. Each of these tyres are covered by patents developed by Pirelli in the World Superbike Championship and the difference between these five products lies substantially in the type of use, whether street or track, in performance on dry and wet asphalt, and in the mileage that each one is able to provide.
More details on available sizes of DIABLO SUPERCORSA SC and SP V4 are available on the Pirelli.com website at the following links:

Tom Booth-Amos will compete for Motozoo Racing in the 2023 World Championship Supersport season. After a great 2022 finale, with Booth-Amos riding Motozoo’s Kawasaki Ninja at the last three rounds of the season – and achieving an eighth place finish in Australia at Phillip Island – the Italian team and English rider will join forces for the new season starting in February.
In 2022, the 26-year-old English rider, Booth-Amos, born in Newport in 1996, competed his first season in World Championship Supersport 600, amassing 29 points and ending in eighth place.
Booth Amos began his career in England, by winning the Moto3 British Championship in 2017, while in 2018 he took part in the Spanish Championship. Then, in 2019, he moved permanently to World Championship duties to compete in Moto3 with Darryn Binder as teammate. He ended the championship in 28th place with ten points.
In 2020, he moved to the Supersport 300 World Championship, reaching the podium in the first three races, with two thirds and a second place. At the end of the year, he finished the Championship in sixth place, with one victory and five podiums. In 2021, he competed on Kawasaki machinery again in Supersport 300 gaining second place in the championship accruing 189 points with two victories and six second places.
Fabio Uccelli, Motozoo Racing Team Manager commented: “I am really happy to confirm Tom Booth-Amos for the upcoming season. We achieved our best results in 2022 with him by competing together in the last three races of the season. He settled in quickly with the motorbike and the team and good results came immediately. He’s a really very fast rider, but at the same time very reflective, he has demonstrated it especially in moments where the track was slippery. In 2023 we certainly have a well-matched team thanks to the presence of Tom, who already has experience in the world championship as a protagonist in SSP300 and now the SSP600 class. Also we offer thanks to the Australian rider Luke Power. He is very young but already very fast both in competition and in his personal growth. On his debut in America, Luke immediately became a worthy protagonist among the leading riders. I’m sure we’ll have a great championship!”.
Tom Booth-Amos #69 concluded: “I’m really very happy to compete in 2023 with Motozoo Racing on the Ninja ZX-6R. We collaborated only in the last three races of last season, but I immediately felt good with the team and together we earned excellent results. Even though we’ve never tested together, we have been very fast already in Argentina and at each race it was a constant growth in our performance. The team is amazing, and the same for the motorbike they provide for me. I can’t wait for the engines to start!”
Infront Moto Racing is pleased to announce the 2023 MXGP calendar update.
The second round of the 2023 season will be held in Riola Sardo as the MXGP of Sardegna will take place on March the 25th and 26th. In 2023 the venue will be hosting the third MXGP race in its history. The first time Sardinia appeared in the calendar was in 2021 while in 2022 Calvin Vlaanderen clinched the victory in MXGP as in MX2 the race saw a tight battle with Tom Vialle winning in front of Jago Geerts.
The third event of the 2023 season sees the return of Switzerland as Frauenfeld gets ready to welcome back the MXGP of Switzerland since 2018 but this time the circuit will be completely brand new, creating an added challenge for the riders.
The last time MXGP set foot in Frauenfeld Jeffrey Herlings and Jorge Prado clinched the win in MXGP and MX2 respectively, each on their way to winning their 2018 World Championship.
After being in the MXGP calendar from its first appearance in 2016 until 2018, the popular Swiss venue is making a comeback, to the delight of local heroes such as MXGP Vice Champion Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing’s Jeremy Seewer, as well as Valentin Guillod and Kevin Brumann.
Being the GP set the Easter weekend, the Saturday program remains unchanged while the Sunday program is shifted to Monday, leaving the Easter Sunday as a day’s break.
Further update to the calendar features the MXGP of Finland, which is now confirmed on July the 30th and will return to Hyvinkaa for the second year in a row after the success of the 2022 comeback where Glenn Coldenhoff and Tom Vialle won in MXGP and MX2 respectively.
Moreover the Monster Energy MXGP of Flanders will host the supporting classes of EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing and the unique round of the EMX Open while the MXGP of The Netherlands will be hosting the supporting classes of the EMX250 and the WMX.

While everyone’s attention turns to a new year, Suzuki is reflecting on a successful 2022 that saw the GSX-S1000GT end the year as the top-selling sports tourer, despite only going on sale in April.
Final figures for the year saw 781 bikes registered, with the forecast for more than 1,000 units to be sold before the end of March 2023, which would mark 12 months on sale.
Suzuki GB head of motorcycles, Jonathan Martin, said, “Of course, we’re delighted with the popularity and success of the GSX-S1000GT. It was launched to high praise in the autumn of 2021, and we were seeing a huge number of reservations and orders before the bike had even arrived in dealerships. Despite that, and though it presented challenges, we managed to keep up with demand and we’re on course to top 1,000 sales by the end of its first year on sale, which is a fantastic achievement and something we’re all pleased with and proud of.”
The GSX-S1000GT seamlessly blends sports and touring capabilities, with a flexible, torque-laden inline-four cylinder engine producing 152PS peak power and 106Nm of peak torque, making it equally adept at motorway cruising as it is rev chasing on sportier runs.
That sportier performance is also enhanced by a bi-directional quickshifter and slipper clutch, while five traction control settings can be used to dial in the desired level of interference, depending on the road and riding conditions. The same is also true for three selectable power modes, while cruise control makes long distance touring a doddle.
All of that information, plus smartphone connectivity for calls, messages, and navigation, is displayed via a 6.5”, full-colour TFT screen, with day and night modes.
There’s a twin-spar aluminium frame, superbike-derived swingarm, and fully-adjustable forks from KYB and a rebound and preload adjustable shock, while angular and aggressive bodywork creates a fresh look for faired Suzuki machinery as well as having the benefits of extensive wind tunnel testing.
Available in dealerships now, the best-selling sports tourer can be had for £12,499, while £13,599 gets you the GSX-S1000GT+, which comes complete with two 36-litre panniers as standard.
Or, on a four-year PCP deal, the GSX-S1000GT can be ridden away for £149 per month, with a £2,641.55 deposit.

If you’re a massive fan of slot machines, you will likely already know what has proven successful with slot players in 2023. If you’re a casual bettor, you may not be quite so familiar with the up-and-coming trends concerning online slots. Either way, there’s nothing to worry about as we aim to walk you through the most recent trends in the slot world right here.
Progressive Jackpot Slots Never Go Out of Fashion
First up, let’s discuss progressive jackpot slots. These never fall out of fashion. It is true that progressive jackpot slots have changed, and right now, there is movement toward community jackpot games with random jackpots, such as the Drops & Wins games. However, progressives are just as much in fashion as they always have been and can regularly be found at top casinos such as Rollers right now.
MegaWays Games Are Starting to Dip
For the last few years, MegaWays games have been nigh-on unbeatable in terms of popularity. In every casino you visit, MegaWays games are front and centre. However, over the last few months, their popularity has begun to wane. It seems that the casino world has caught on that many of them offer the same features. We don’t expect new MegaWays games to stop appearing overnight, but there has been a drop in the number of new MegaWays games released of late.
Hold and Wins Are on the Rise
While MegaWays games are on the way out (it seems), Hold and Win slots seem to be in the ascendency. These games are being unveiled as hugely popular releases with casino bettors. Casino game developers are churning these titles out like there’s no tomorrow, so we would expect Hold and Win slots to continue to impress in the immediate future.
Highly Volatile Games Starting to Fade
At the same time as MegaWays are dropping down the popularity meter, one could argue the same can be said for highly volatile games in general. These are not as popular as they were a few months ago.
